Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Oh no, that's like one less addition to their youth team. How on earth will they manage with only buying 47 players in total next year and not 48? Oh the agony

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most...

Somerset Fulham

Box  ticked, case closed. Precedent set.

City will get exactly the same thing with a slightly bigger (utterly pointless) fine.

Apparently the FA may impose a points deduction. Very unlikely - but we will see (let's hope they do!)

#115 ers will escape any points deduction no doubt.

Sky can't have a team like that out of the top flight... can they...  ::tongue::

If the secret payments were £47m then I'd have fined them the same, + interest from the period in question to now.

Farcical really - wholesale cheating which enabled them to sign many top players that enabled them to win multiple trophies and they get fined £10m. It makes the entire thing worthwhile from their point of view - and the Directors at the dog track at the time declined to give evidence  ::angry::

Just saw on Talk Sport a football finance expert was saying Chelsea won't end up paying anything. The £10m fine is expected to be paid from Abramovic's Ukraine war fund.

It will actually be paid out of the monies that they hold as a retention against the full consideration agreed with Abramovich for the sale. Therefore the £150m retention will be reduced to £140m which will then be paid to him in 2027. So technically you are correct and Abramovich is paying it
