Interesting video about the PSR now SCR rules and how it grossly favors the bigger teams and why teams like Fulham voted against it. Interestingly it actually disadvantages smaller teams that make it into Europe by reducing the headroom for spending on more players so if we did qualify we'd struggle with budget E.g. likes of Forest struggling and palace

Forest's struggles aren't due to budget issues, they spent £200m in the last window.

There's many more small teams in the PL compared to big teams. How do these rules that negatively affect small teams even get voted in? It's like turkeys voting for Christmas.

They only need 14 teams to vote yes, and they got  .... 14

I know but only about 8-9 teams in the entire league benefit from SCR. About 12 teams are currently already over the 85% SCR limit according to this table: https://fbref.com/en/comps/9/wages/Premier-League-Wages. We're at 87% so it wouldn't take a lot for us to be under. The teams that voted against it are: Bournemouth, Brighton, Palace, Fulham, Leeds and Brentford which means teams like Sunderland and Burnley who are at 100% SCR and Everton who is at 92% voted for SCR. Why? It's voting for your own demise.

In the video he classifies Everton as a high revenue team so maybe with their new stadium and the higher profile they're more confident of long-term revenue. Sunderland also have a decent stadium and a large support base so maybe they are also a confident of long-term revenue.    Burnley no idea.

Apparently

This Grizzly Bear was walking through the woods and came across a Rabbit.
He asked the Rabbit if poo sticks to his fur.
The Rabbit replied no.
So the Grizzly Bear picked him up, wiped his backside with him, and threw him in the bushes.

Please note that was probably more hygienic than the Hammy end Ablutions.

The only reason I can see why Burnley voted for it is they're certain they're going down again and they want to troll the rest of the league.
