Fulham captain Danny Murphy wants to finish his career at the club having signed a new 18-month contract.

The former Liverpool midfielder, 33, said: "I have had a wonderful time here. The fans have been fantastic and the last two seasons have been the most successful in the club's history.

"I don't envisage playing anywhere else in my career – however long that be.

"The club is moving forward every week and long may that continue. Long my legs continue to get me out there too."
