To be fair that was a very different Italy team, they were probably the outstanding team of the tournament. Even so, playing at home and having taken the lead, that was a great chance to win something.

England lost their nerve and were just holding on for most of the second half.

We looked good back then, beating Germany 2-0 and Ukraine 4-0, can't see this team getting those results.
