What do you make of him ? Does he do enough for you ? Does he carry enough of a threat from that wide position  ?
If we sign him he's going to take up the best part of £25 million of our precious budget,
Can we get better for less ?
So over to you, do you want to see him in our squad next season?
For clarity I'm undecided , but I do need to see him playing a starring role in one of the remaining games.

Hugh Janus

He has dropped right off for me. I'm not sure I'd be making it permanent

The Old Count

Understandably, he's lost a bit of an edge since his Mother's death. I'm sure he'll be back to his previous form. Probably next season though. I'd keep him on.

Stoneleigh Loyalist

I can only say what I have commented elsewhere and that is to what extent has Chuck lost form more than most other players in the team. He could be effective as part of a system which just isn't working at the moment and nothing will change now until next season when Wilson and probably Silva have gone and we will be starting afresh.

Fulham33

Far better on the right than he is on the left. But unless we play Harry as No10 he wont start.

Jonny4

Tricky one - I do think if Wilson leaves and he can return to RW that would probably help. As it stands I'd look elsewhere - his form has been dire since AFCON.

We've had electric loanees before like Manor Solomon and Pavel Pogrebnyak but neither stayed or amounted to much after us.

Too many question marks over Silva, Wilson, etc to really make any decisions yet.

Whitestone

The try before you buy period hasn't been a great success. Whether we should make the signing permanent depends on the price. I can see a good squad player but not a regular starter.

SG

He needs minutes on the pitch and to start regularly. With Wilson having reverted to his mean of the past four years he doesn't justify his starting berth any longer so Silva should give Chuk a chance

This exactly. If Wilson's head is at Villa then give someone else a shot.

It's not the price I'm too worried about it's his wages. Unless he is prepared to take a significant drop compared to his current contract at AC Milan I just don't see how we can afford yet another high earner. Our wage cost base is already in the danger zone.

Wilso appears to be out let's face it.
So we need to start giving Bobb and Chuk a go on the right for longer periods. Neithers position of choice is LW.

That said, Chuk was brilliant all over the pitch when he first arrived. Understandably he's not looked the same post loss of his mother. Hard therefore to judge, fair play to Marco though regarding when we were all pushing to sign him early, he was saying it's too early to make a call on that.

Reason to ponder it I suppose and there were rumours Chuk wasn't 1000% sure on leaving italy, possible the bereavement has solidified a sense of wanting to be near family, I don't know.

Either way we'll be back in the winger market again in the summer as Harry does indeed appear to be off

Tend to think his one of those players who struggles to perform consistently over a season. Bit of an in & out type who might be more out than in?
Imagine if we signed him we'd have three wingers costing close to £100k and all unproven?
Personally think we should not trigger any option.

I wish it was only £100k 😪

Can't we renew his loan again instead of forking out £25m? 🤔

I still don't understand our transfer policy yes we know the khans bankroll us the view is silva, our chief exect and tony plus shad agrees to cover the purchase.the executive or accountant on the committee agrees or disagrees can we afford him or not he doesn't seem when spoken to doesn't seem to be knowledgeable on players or staff he's never ever recommended managers it's not his forte. So silver did arobie recommend Rowe to Marco, and also the Nigerian winger on loan wich with a view to buy perhaps overpriced.Anderson on loan before did Tony recommend as he loaned him, munis silva said he wanted him well that is a worry the arsenal goalkeeper iwobi again maybe, sess was here before,I just wonder can we be bothered to study a future player or is it just heresay because they play like it I would like to ask an Everton's fans the players they bought why did they struggle to stay up what was the standard.bobb did berge recommend have we ever found a bargain.

Bit of an enigma, Chukwueze is.  His first couple of games, I thought this kid is the real deal, exciting player who can find the net and a player that figures into next seasons' team.  Now, I'm not so sure.  His past handful of games he has been mostly invisible, mediocre to poor showings.  And, if FFC does decide to keep him, he just adds to the flyweights in this squad.  Smaller stature players, relying on speed and quickness, which is fine.  But would be nice to get some beef/muscle into our forward playing footballers.

The £25m is not necessarily the biggest issue. His potential wages could be a much bigger problem.

In training this week Silva should be told to take him to one side for a little chat , during this little chat he should be asked what his favoured position is , then told that he is going to be played in that position for the remainder of the season,
Hopefully he puts in a few starring roles, if he does then it becomes an easy decision,
If he doesn't then we save £25 million and move on to another target.

Huge

Didnt I read that he isnt that keen on staying in England anyway as its colder than he than he thought it would be.
