Don't really care as long as we stay up and Cheats get relegated  :dft012: :dft011:

Edit:
And that Blackpool stay up so we can do a Blackpool away 2.0 next season...

Sadly I don't think there's an earthly Stoke will go this time.

Can't be bothered with the entire bottom half but I've thought for a while it'd be Wolves, Wigan and West Ham. West Brom and Blackpool are in the running too though - the former were mad to get shot of their manager a week or so after the window had 'slammed' shut and may well pay (although their plans are always to only spend enough so they will survive relegation). Newcastle will finish beneath us but even they won't really be in the mix.

No chance that West Ham will go down. They made good enough signings in January to be ok.

I think the bottom three will be any of five:

Blackpool
Birmingham
West Brom.
Wigan
Wolvs.

I very much hope that one of the three is Wolvs.

I spent 10 minutes doing the BBC predictor earlier this week.

I had us finishing 9th with 47 points.

Going down were West Brom, Wigan and, very surprisingly, Bolton. I didn't intentionally downgrade them but game by game it seemed likely that they'd lose or draw.

Safety was 39 points.

I could of course have repeated the exercise 10 minutes later with completely different results.

Wigan
West Brom
Wolves

Wigan had a good result the other day but they have been a poor side since Steve Bruce left them. They are also very much a selling club too.

West Brom are well and truly in the mix now and by sacking their manager they may as well be throwing in the towel. We are coming into the most difficult part of the season and their new manager is going to be going into it cold with only existing players to work with. Sanchez managed it with us but we all know that it was down to a good Dempsey goal against a very weak Liverpool team.

Wolves are an oddity. They have taken 3 points off a lot of good teams this season but have otherwise been abbysmal. No place for them and their tactics in this league.

Notable mentions go to West Ham. I can see the Cheats making yet another miraculous escape but we live in hope.

Blackpool should be okay but can't see them finishing much higher than 15th. They have an admirable team spirit and are great to watch but they have thrown too many points away from winning positions. can see them going down next year unless Holloway takes a masterclass in defensive tactics.

All the Ws for me... Wolves, West Brom and Wigan.

Not necessarily in that order.

Birmingham will be close, but have just enough to scrap through.

West Ham will stay up. They have a solid manager, and a reasonable squad now.

Blackpool are in freefall at the moment but Holloway is a real motivator and committed to good football. I think they will squeak through.

Stoke have enough points and only need a few more wins, which they will get.
