To be fair (and how did I ever get to use that phrase in relation to John Terry?) he is merely expressing his political opinion, and while I might strongly disagree with his views I do support his right to make them. We are, after all, a democracy. I also have the right to treat him with contempt, should our paths ever cross (and given where I work, I can only hope), for holding those views.

Well, I might get to meet Mr Lowe in a professional capacity as well. We can dream.

He is allowed have a political view. It may not be your view and you might not agree with it. However that doesn't mean he is wrong or his view should be considered a low. That's not how a democracy works.

And whatever view some have it's the view of many many people, just saying.
But this is not the place to discuss it further.

No one likes TJ but he is allowed a view the same as anyone else....

Just because you don't like or agree doesn't mean it's wrong, there are more concerning figures imo out there that require more of an oh dear.....

I used to know Terry's uncle.  When Terry, Frank Lampard and a couple of other Chelsea players were castigated for a drinking binge at Heathrow near American tourists grieving over the 9/11 attacks in the states, his uncle simply said 'you have to remember that John is really not at all bright'.  I doubt he's changed.

OP banned for the period of 1 month for posting politically aggravated content and inciting political debate.

We are not sure how much clearer we can be that politics, in any form, is banned from Friends of Fulham.

Moving forward, anyone posting political content will pick up a 1 month ban, those engaging 2 weeks.
