I know that people on here have sad that they have no interest in our women's team but there are those of us that do. Following the league championship with two seasons unbeaten last night they beat AFC Wimbledon 1-0 to win the Capital Cup. Wimbledon are in a higher league. I have never attended a game but have watched them on tv and follow their reports and this is the point. We won the cup and I have had to go to the AFC Wimbledon website for the score and a report. Where are or publicity experts as I believe that anything achieved in the name of FFC is a good thing .

It is a shame as Woman's footie is on the up and the attendances around the place bear this out. I am sure all around SW6 there are girls that are already inspired to play but it wouldn't take much effort from the Club to promote and highlight this success. Girls teams in for free for example.

We try and fill that gap at the fulham womens supporters club over on Facebook, twitter & Instagram.  Weve been going because yhere was so little output from the club. This season the club have employed a social media team so the output has increased . We try and post stuff from our opponents view and vote for our supporters player of the season .Last year stella gandee morgan won it and this year ellie olds was the recipient.
The womens team has a great history & next season it will be 25 years since we won the fa cup. Im trying to compile a history of our womens team so if anyone wants to contribute hit me ip .

In fairness the Club Website has produced a good report with photos but it was just that Wimbledon were much quicker off the mark.

Would you want the women's team playing on the craven cottage pitch if it started to effect the men's team by the pitch getting cut up and bumpy ect .

Weve played 4 games at the cotrage each of the last 2 seasons and it will increase . Attendances at motspur park are about 180 but at the cottage its about 1800. Chelsea women are now playing all their games atvthe bridge & arsenal play lots at the Emirates. I feel our modern pitches cope OK

It's not men's or women's, it's Fulham Football Club.

As a club we provide opportunities for everyone, regardless of race, gender or disability, therefore the facilities are for all.

In 10 years time, WSL will be on par with EPL in terms of revenue, talent and crowds.

I can't believe it's 25 since the FA Cup win. If that game was the one played at Selhurst Park, there was a big FFC turnout located in the Holmesdale Road Stand.

Following the game my old dad wrote to Palace complaining that the unannounced & very loud fireworks they set off during the trophy presentation nearly gave him a heart attack. In fairness, he got a very nice letter from their club secretary apologising.

Quite right, there isn't much natural grass & definitely no mud on our pitch these days.

As one who used to attend our Wednesday afternoon Reserve matches at Motspur Park I got used to also seeing our great ladies team training in their brief glory days.
One league win and two cup competitions must be worthy of a half time lap of honour at one of our remaining two home matches. This would show the ladies the credit they deserve.

COLMAN

The ladies achievements in winning two consecutive league titles (without losing any games) plus winning the Capital Women's Cup, merits recognition beyond the updates, match reports and brief highlights on the FFC web site.
So how about letting the ladies have a lap of honour at half time with their medals and trophies at a home Premiership game...Bournemouth for example. They deserve it !

What a nonsense, some women's matches played at the Cottage isn't going to do the slightest harm. Personally I would welcome it.

the facilities are for the men's football team what are you talking about. Fulham ladies get around 100 fans to watch and you think in 10 years the WSL is going to be as big as the premier league 😂 complete and utter nonsense who Subsidies the women's game 🤔 the men's game they sell the women's team to make money for the men's team . If the women's game started affecting the men's I wonder what would happen . 😂😂

What a load old tosh, the women's team is financed by the club, not the men's team.
