Experimental team from Jol on last day of the season giving the youngsters a chance...
@FulhamFC: Fulham starting XI v Swansea: Schwarzer; Riether, Senderos, Hangeland, Riise; Duff, Frimpong, Enoh, Kacaniklic; Ruiz; Berbatov. #FFC
Not...
Thank god it's our last game. What an appalling line up. What is his obsession with Riise and Duff. Jols obsession with Duff is wrong.
@FulhamFC: Swansea team: Vorm; Rangel, Chico Flores, Williams, Davies; Britton, de Guzman; Routledge, Hernandez, Dyer; Michu #ffc
On the other hand...maybe it means we're taking it seriously.

hmm, Jol might be taking it seriously but the jury is out on wether the players will...
Win today and saints loss wins me £100 off my QPR and Southampton supporting mates for higher finish...
Jol would love to get the three points, and , hopefully, the players too.
No youngsters on the bench.
Don't care anymore. Jol is taking the proverbial with that team. SAME 0LD SAME OLD. He hasn't any idea. The team that has failed time and time again in the same formation that has failed time and time again. I just hope, whatever the result, Jol sods off soon.

Poor team. Poor manager.
Good position here. Challenge the keeper, Ruiz!
Rubbish
another quality Riise free kick
Ruiz had a great chance but just didn't shoot. Seeeeeeriously, he had about 3 chances and did nothing.
Decent game so far though.

Fulham are so so slowwwwwwwwwww!
pass pass pass (Hangeland and Senderos)...lose ball.
ahh token Senderos error. Glad that's over with without punishment.
Get innnnnn
YAY!!! KACA :)
What a goal!!!
KACA BOY RUNS RIOT :)
lovely from Ruiz and great finish
Kaca is a fantastic finisher
Kaca - yeeeeeees
Beautiful passing, nice through ball by Frimpong, and cool finish by Kacaniklic. 1-0
brilliant goal
Fantastic goal! Was not expecting that..
That's a glorious goal and shows what Ruiz needs to do more, and what he needs from his team mates to do it more.
What's our support like today? Didn't hear much of a cheers for the goal.
BBC Final Score crediting Enoh with through ball and Berba with flick...do they not watch the game :/
The through ball to Kacaniklic was from Frimpong, not Ruiz.
yea indead I was just thinking I missed something cause clearly Frimpong passed to Kaca :)
Enoh on the other hand gets each slight breeze called a foul on him
defensive work appalling as usual though. Ref being lenient thankfully

Why do we just stop attacking? We shut down like a windows computer!
We're actually winning...
1/2 time. One nicely worked goal and couple of chances but otherwise, doing our best to give away our lead.
People moaning still then?
Right.
winning but getting outplayed
berbatov looks very frustrated when nobody makes runs
Sorry but this is so boring. I have positive all this year but I can't understand why we just stop and don't attack. It's like we are not allowed to go over half way.

Right.
Honest appraisals of the first half.
If Jol sends Kaka out on loan next season, he's nuts. We're miles better when he plays, would be a lot better if we had Dejagah and Sidwell.
People STILL moaning about people moaning. This is the same team with the same performance. We have scored a nice goal but we are still slow in going forward and still giving the ball away. I really wish people see the game for what it is.
Still Kaka proved he is useful and creating space for himself. Oh but for a bit of pace up the middle. Hope our second half has more chances for us and keeps them quiet.
Well as it stands we are 11th. Not bad for a crap year with no attacking or defending what so ever!
We've had CLEARLY the two best chances of the game. If not for Vorm it'd be 2-0.
Schwarzer's had, what, that low shot from the corner of the box saved. What else has he done?
Good first half in my books, by this seasons standards anyway. Repeatedly impressed by Enoh but please Lord, relieve us from more Duff perfomances. As much as I respect him in all he's done throughtout his career and this club, he is no longer a winger. He is probably the most predictable player in the prem. I'll bet right/left backs rub their hands when they see him on the teamsheet. Kaca on the other hand...

Mr Jol has a brain. Duff is finally off the pitch. Why did he extend his contract. He has been useless practically all season.
The same old rubbish, sit back and give the opposition every chance to score.
Game after game, for love sake! It may not be as easy as it looks but we play like a an under 12's team playing a an under 16 team, pack the defense and hope for the best.
Another typical Fulham performance. Such a shame we just have no idea how to keep the ball or change things.

It is basically c£775k per placing.

if Man City get a goal in it would be 5 places gained compared to if we lost

Typical isn't it. Another awful performancce for most of the match. Giving the ball away and hanging on. But when we did break away we did support the leading player. Plenty to be concerned about this season but at least we have something to be happy with, with this scoreline.

Finally something to sing about... Great result, now onto improving the team over the summer and trying to push on and get in the European places!!! I haven't been overly impressed this season but there is promising signs!
Great result
12th is a decent finish
Roll on next season
19 points from 19 away games is a pretty good return for us. It was our home form that has let us down. Our 12th position finish must not cover over the cracks though. There is a lot of work to be done this summer. No time for sentiment. Jol has a problem of what to do with Schwarzer. I would love to keep him but no player should be guaranteed being 1st choice.
Riise, Duff, Hughes, Baird , Richardson, Petric, Senderos & Sidwell are only squad players at best. Davies is, I´m afraid, finished. I don´t know about Diaara. We will have to wait on his fitness.
Not wishing to be controversial but even after a completely unexpected win against a very good side, it is still difficult for some of you to celebrate. From the sound of it, we rode our luck today but we won and once again from the sound of it, our defence played well and we did what Swansea couldn't, we scored some goals. Reason for me to celebrate. Great pity that some of you cannot (or will not) join me

Well said, all I read is how we shouldn't be winning and how we will lose, win is a win!!

Well said Mr Peabody.
There hasn't been too much to cheer about recently, so this is a good way to draw the season to a close.
And despite being a bit average in places, we finished closer to 8 than 18th on points.
Been out playing today. First thing when I got in, I looked at was the score :yay: As mr. Peabody says, rejoice. After such a dismal run to finish 12th is outstanding.
Tough season but at least we finished above the stoke giant thugs.
12th, not too shabby. Work to be done for next season, so lets keep fingers crossed and we can all start moaning again in a few months.
Two minutes before he scored, I was thinking "I want that man out of my team" we scarcely had the ball and when they had possession he just sulked around the pitch. Effectively we were one man down.
Yes he can score goals, but I'm sorry if we are paying someone 100k a week I expect them to make an effort.
Interestingly that is the first time I can recall Jol taking him off just before the end. He gave a wave to the fans. There was no acknowledgement between Berbatov and Jol when he went off..... Was that his last goodbye?
Great player, but I want Fulham to play with more pace as we did when Karagounis and Emanuelson came on and actually ran at Swansea.
On another point. We have been playing badly because we have been lacking confidence. We have been playing the ball backwards too often, and back to schwarzer which means then losing possession which means less confidence etc etc etc.... That confidence is not helped by Berbatov's sulking and moods....
We can't afford both Berbatov and Ruiz in the Same team. At least Ruiz tries!!!!!
Will fans stop moaning about fans who moan. You just bring us all down. Enjoy the win but stop moaning about other fans. It does nothing but divide us when we all can enjoy the win, some of us without thinking it was a wonderful World beating performance.

The irony.
They mentioned on SKY that Swansea won only one of their final ten games, I don't know how many they've drawn. If a few of their stars get itchy feet, it could halt their progress, I think Williams will move on soon.
Bit like us then. The Swansea guy i was sat next to leaned over and shock my hand at the end of the match, which i thought was good
Great win and a breath of fresh air after all the negativity. However, this result shouldn't overshadow the need for major reinforcements in the summer.
NIce to get a win, but let's be honest, we we're awful.
Peabody says, "from the sound of it, our defence played well". That may be true, from the sound of it, but watching it, our defence was a shambles. The back four were never moving as a unit and regularly passed the ball to Swansea players. At one point in the second half they had had 11 shots on target to our 2 - and we were 1-0 up at the time. If they'd actually fired at any part of the goal instead of Mark's chest they could easily have been cruising by half time.
The bright spot was Kaka, who looked very good.

they turned us over 2-1 at our place in very similar fashion and this board was full os people moaning that day about how poor we were in front of goal and how much more effective they were in possession. Now we do the same to them and we get people moaning about our performance. We've just beaten a solid mid table prem team 3-0 away from home with some really nice goals as well. Lets just leave it as a nice victory to end the season and not try to put a downer on it please.
This was a match thread and was there for fans to give opinions about the match. The only downer for a depressed fan like me who was happy with the result was the moaning by those who wanted to ignore the performance and moan about other fans.

which is exactly what you're doing right now as well. I agree though in earnest that we should all just be proud of a good away win on the weekend not using it as another stick to attempt to batter the team with. There's enough of those from the rest of the season.
so on a brighter note Bryan looked lovely as well on the weekend, some of his work in the build up to the first and second goals was delightful.
So, those of us who want to celebrate a good away win by imploring those who don't want to celebrate, to join us in our celebrations, are missing something, like the performance. Yichang is of course nonsense. Obviously the performance is important, though not as important as the result and maybe, just maybe we don't agree with the total negativity.
