I feel who ever wins this one, can safely start to breath a bit, and for me, I would say they are no longer in the running for being relegated. The most obvious result would be a draw, but we can't even afford to let those above us get 1 more point. If you had a choce, who would you rather it be, Villa or Norwich?
So far so good. Norwich, Palace, Cardiff all losing. I think Norwich is more likely to go down than Villa.
Currently
Villa 3 - 1 Norwich
Spurs 1 - 0 Cardiff
Swansea 1 - 0 C Palace
So far so good.
All the bottom teams around us are currently losing so let's hope it stays that way.
We need a win on Saturday. It's going to be one of those 6 pointers.
Cardiff sound far too good for us next week. :005:
Villa 4 - 1 Norwich
I don't know why I hate spurs so much. Even though they are winning and is good for us I still hate them.

I hate Spurs more than any other club. It's their fans if anything, one of the most deluded I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Its always their year, every year, has been since the the 60's. Every player they sign is a legend, every player they sell is a reject. The only fans I know that can talk a footballing conversation back around about their own bloody club.
Cardiff have been unlucky not to score -have given the Spurs defence a lot of problems.
Cardiff look sharp. Bags of energy and causing Tottenham a few problems. First 45, they are looking good. oh dear.
Norwich 4-1 down at ht.
Have just seen Benteke ist goal what a cracker

They will be licking their lips at our arrival, just like every other club this season.

:plus one:
If we do what we did against WBA we will lose at Cardiff. The only chance we will have is to have a go and put pressure on them.
But they sound a class above us anyway
Looks like Cardiff and Norwich plus the bottom three are going to be the ones fighting for safety.

Also spurs being poo makes Cardiff looking good. Cardiff has no threat upfront.
We gotta forget about the likes of Swansea Stoke and Villa and concentrate on trying to get more points than 3 or Norwich Cardiff Sunderland WBA and Palace

Totally agree. By the time we play the likes of Stoke and Villa I'm hoping they will be a little more comfortable.
....and we are playing 3 out of those 4 in the coming weeks.
What's the story with the WBA v Sunderland fixture? Do we know when it will be rescheduled? That's a bad game for us however it finishes but if it was some time soon and finished in a dull draw that might be a good thing for us mentally.
If it's rescheduled for much later in the season I can see that being 3 points in the bad for whichever one of them is closest to the relegation scrap at the time.
The way our season is going, im fully expecting Palace and Cardiff to get a point here

Swansea down to ten men - Palace score from penalty.
8 minutes to go.
That could well be it for us.
It was outside the box too. god sake
Aghhh shitenhousen.....
Right what team needs to go out at The Etihad and get 3 points ?.....
cardiff applying pressure
Cardiff losers
contact was initiated outside the box, agree with above

If Palace sneak a win I'd say so, a point not so disastrous as it keeps Swansea in it.
Scare at the Liberty, thought they got another peno for a second
I think Norwich last week, Palace this and also Cardiff had a big advantage playing the europa teams. Both Swans and spurs seem to struggle after their Thursday games. We are still alive. Just
We are six points behind Palace and they have a game in hand and a much better GD
West Brom are 4 points above us with a game in hand and a much better GD
Bottom three
Three points behind Sunderland who have two games in hand and much better GD
Point behind Cardiff who have a 4 goal better GD than us
We play Norwich,Palace and Cardiff. 2 of them at home. 17th is the aim. I really think we will stay up.Just. COYW!!!
Mr. LH, it does not look too good. Palace might go down but they are out of our sights. A 3 game swing is too much to ask.
wba and Sunderland, a 2 game swing as long as they don't win any of their games in hand.
A one game swing with Cardiff which is irrelevant becasue they will probably be down with us.
That is one huge task. 093.gif
Palace have the worst run. they playing chelsea, man city, liverpool and us :54:
