Just got a mail from the club.
£100 discount compared to the cost of my ticket for last year.
Wow...surprised by this (the gesture, and the timing!).
Hello,
Throughout all the years you've been a Season Ticket Holder, this has been one of the toughest. Without you it would have been even harder. The players know it, and we know it.
It's not over yet, and to say thank you for your loyal support from the Hammersmith End,
Fulham Football Club
*Subject to the Terms & Conditions of Issue. Booking Fees shall apply. This offer is open until 5pm on Friday 9th May 2014.The reduced rate represents a discount of £100 from the 2013/14 Early Bird Season Ticket prices and entitles fans to attend the following matches in the 2014/15 season:
(i) 19 home Premier League matches if the Club is in the Premier League;
or (ii) 23 home Football League Championship matches if the Club is in the Football League Championship, plus the first two cup matches of the season, where the Club is drawn at home.
The choice is yours, Crystal Palace had the same option a few years ago. Probably watching Championship football but if a miracle occurs then you see FFC in the Prem for £100.00 cheaper. A good marketing ploy.
If we go down u also get 2 home cup matches.
However it does state if we go down the price may or may not go up :-/
Is it just seats in the Hammersmith end?
I assume that if you have a season ticket in the Riverside then the message would be tailored accordingly. It's just that my season ticket is in the Hammersmith End.
what an insult - got until 29th April - otherwise I lose my seats - bloody cheek - I wish I could tell them to get lost .......but somehow I can't !! - they are preying on the innocent mugs like us

Give it a rest. People were saying there was the possibility of no decrease in price as we'll get 4 extra games next season. Here we're given a £100 discount and 2 free cup games, and you're STILL complaining? Your seat will likely still be there after the deadline as why would there be a huge rush to see us in the Championship?
Because I have decent seats
Has everyone got email? I haven't.

No-one's forcing you to renew.

Is there such a thing as a decent seat to watch us play? I'd imagine restricted viewing or a seat facing backwards would provide more entertainment.
In reply to the clubs email and efforts, at least they are already acknowledging it's either do it now and hook them while it seems a really good offer or lose a lot next year with an offer when we have already been relegated.
well that was my point - after this season I wold love to tell them where to stick the season tickets -- but I can't because I have been going for 45 years - yes I know I am not being forced - it's a captive market and I don't consider the discounts/incentives to renew large enough to watch FFC in the second division being managed as poorly as it has been this season
An unexpected discount and £50 cheaper than the equivalent seat in my (now) local team, Forest [shudder]. Would be interesting to know what prices are like elsewhere in the Championship.
(But yes, as Northern Cottager says, lots of scope this year for jokes about paying extra for a restricted view seat!)
Not just Hammy End. I have JH tickets and got similar email.
(Of course, my ticket is more expensive so £100 less is a smaller discount! I think I will complain! 092.gif)
Don't know what I'll do as yet.
Its on the official web not just emails. I had intended to tell them to stick it until I see who comes and goes and just buy for those I can make but this offer has made me re-think. Will probably go for it.
Dear Season Ticket Holder,
While we have certainly encountered our fair share of challenges on the pitch this season, our supporters have consistently performed at an elite level. This is no surprise to me. The loyalty and passion of Fulham fans is what I knew best about the Club when I arrived last summer, and to personally experience both at Craven Cottage as your Chairman has been inspiring and an honour. Thank you!
Of course, Season Ticket Holders like you are at the heart of the loyalty and passion that defines supporters of Fulham Football Club. Your pledge to Fulham is deeply appreciated, and in turn I pledge to you our very best in rising to the challenge of the final six weeks of this season and beyond.
The future, in fact, is promising. Last month, the Board of the Port of London Authority granted our Club a river works licence enabling us to move forward with the important and long-awaited development of the Riverside Stand. With expanded capacity and additional premium offerings possible through this project, Fulham Football Club can now be better assured of overall promise and financial sustainability for many seasons to come. Further, a new Riverside Stand would create a Thames River walkway that could be enjoyed by the neighbourhood and general public for the first time in recent history. This is good news for everyone and I thank everyone for remaining true to our long-term vision for Craven Cottage and Fulham Football Club.
Meanwhile, I assure you of our commitment to field a Club that you will be proud of supporting. We first have work to complete this season, but know that we are driven to return strong in August. You deserve nothing less.
With that, as a Season Ticket Holder, I humbly invite you to return with us in 2014/2015. You are assured many privileges as a member of our Season Ticket Holder family, as well as discounts on your ticket price if you renew soon. I am confident that many good things are right around the corner for Fulham Football Club, and I sincerely hope you will be at Craven Cottage to join me for what's ahead.
Thank you, and Come On You Whites!
Shahid Khan, Chairman

•Access to viagogo ticket exchange, you can sell your seat to another Fulham fan.
•Our Instalment Plan allows you to purchase an adult Season Ticket from less than £37 per month (over nine months).
Not sure why the negative comments...
Whether we stay up, or go down, this represents pretty good value in my opinion.
All bought and ready for next season.
I haven't had a season ticket in some years and have an e mail so they are trying to drum up business. Seems a good idea to me.
Mine would now be £350 each, definitely an attractive offer. I haven't got an e.mail yet but P2 is available at that price on the website. I would imagine you could still renew yr season ticket after April but it won't be the cheap price.
what is the view like from near the back of H8? ive never sat there, allways try and get as near the back of H5 as possible, but as im moving to london this summer il be low on funds so looking to get a cheaper ticket. Doubt many games will sell out though so i guess i could get a season ticket for H8 then just move to an empty seat (naughty)

Mmmhh not sure about that...
Apart from the fact that as already said by The Man of The Bus, £100 discount is different in % value for different seats... But if we look at the season ticket prices of the current season for all the champioships teams, our prices don't seem so good value for money...( if we go down of course..)
Our most expensive ST (Riverside) is on sale for £839 and it would be probably the most expensive (by far...) in all the league

I am in the Riverside - that was my moan - ridiculous money to watch 2nd division rubbish - no choice though
I expected it to stay the same, so to be fair I'm surprised, good marketing to be fair, no one is holding a gun to anyone's head, you either want to renew at those prices or not, your choice
Our cheapest ticket next season (£299) will be cheaper than the average in the Championship (£313.49), and this is a London club, with presumably one of the stronger squads next season, and at one of the best grounds in the country.
After such a season i would expect to receive my money back... Not a £100 discount for the next season.... :-)
COYW
I've not had a ST since I was at uni. Few years back now.
Where I'd want to sit (where I did before) would be £449, but I'm really tempted whatever the league. I just need to get a new job that means I don't work Saturdays. I'd have bought one already if I knew I'd have a different job.

If you're going to keep moaning, stay in the Riverside please , don't want moaners in the Hammersmithend ;-)

I'm confused, where did you get this from, £299 for all seats at CC?
On the one hand that's a welcome and smart move. I'm also pleased that the age for cheapest tickets for children has been raised from under 8 to under 10, as my daughter's ticket would have doubled in price otherwise
On the other hand my Haha supporting mate has seen them lots of times this season for £10. I know that's still daylight robbery (you'd have to pay me to see them) but if FFC did the same then it could be cheaper.
Wish I could get a season ticket at those prices, but I'm moving to Stoke to do my masters degree. Gonna get a membership though and ask to transfer my loyalty points over

Shahid Khan, Chairman
Great response from the club, especially when there have been questions of Khan's intentions raised by some. Hopefully this goes some way to assuage those fears.
Paid for, up for next season wherever we play
Like I said above it also says it could go up if we drop a division. I'm assuming it won't though as who would pay now and then after the sadness of being relegated accept paying an additional amount?!
Wasn't expecting this until after the relegation situation was resolved, and the more I think about it the more I like it. I would have renewed without the discount, I'm a Fulham supporter. Great move and much appreciated.
If Khan actually penned this I would be quite impressed. I am always keen to respond to humble requests.
Just renewed my two I wasn't going to but the chairman has shown his commitment so I have done the same 049:gif

not that it's any of my business, but what are you taking your degree in?
Nice move by the club.
I wonder if they will consider concession prices for over 60s - rather than over 65s
Other clubs do so, including Brentford, who may well be in the same league as us next year.

FWIW, you shouldn't have a problem doing that. You'll retain your client reference and all associated info including loyalty points.
Im also sure you won't need telling this, but there are some great deals to be had on the trains to London if you book far enough in advance
great gesture by the club and im slowly warming to mr khan.
We know season ticket costs at the moment.
Prices on the day would be interesting for comparison purposes.
If we were in the championship say.....
Yes I expect there will be alot of offers during the season
Haven't you had an email yet offering you a season ticket at £100 less than this year's price? I have! Admittedly mine has lapsed but I am sure that will be good for everyone!
Probably top about £50-£70 quid, and that'll be the Riverside for QPR at home...
General, I think will be £10-£35
For comparison, QPR tickets are regularly on offer for £14.50 on groupon etc.
That would not make the reduced price season ticket seem particularly good value.
What's Groupon?
Something isn't quite right!! My season ticket is offered to me at 359 quid but I shall be 65 in July before the season starts and over-65's pay 289. So if I buy it now I pay 70 quid more............some saving!!!

Just a tip, with The Hammersmith End unlikely to sell even 40 % of its seats to season ticket holders (it holds 7500 people)
Wouldn't it be the smart idea to purchase a ticket in either H1 or H8 (the cheapest seats) and then sit were you like on the day !
Just a thought like. 065.gif

Disagree there.....all of the guys that around me are renewing and at this price I think we may even get some movement from the Putney and JH stands..
£299 in H1 or £449 in either H3 H4 H5 or H6 ! Hmmmmmmmm 082.gif
If you're in the seat behind Richard Osman do you get extra discount for a restricted view?
