The one thing Fulham has with Mitro out, is that West Ham won't be 100% sure how we'll play, especially going forward, we have a unpredictability us that may help us out here.  In any case, what a lovely strike from Periera!

Dawson just ran into Pereira, raising his arm as doing so - before flopping to the ground. Don't see that as a pen personally.

Its 100% not a pen, but you have to play the situation. Ref spoke to him twice, so was obviously dying to give it. You just cant give him a reason to do so

Exactly this!  Mitro gets wrestled in the box week in week out, just gets told to get up. The West Ham player runs at Pereira , put his arm over Pereira's neck, then throws himself forward under no contact whatsoever. What use is VAR if they can't overturn something so blatant as that.

Vinicius work rate isn't high enough for the Prem.   He needs a ton more movement to be of value.

We seriously miss Tete.

BDR is doing a job...but the attacks down his side are frightening.   Kenny would close down their attack much quicker.

As a target I agree.   He doesn't even have Mitro's level of movement off the ball though  IMO.

I am clearly in the minority but for me that was a penalty all day long, Andreas was even warned twice before it was given. Absolutely brainless.

And its a shame because we were doing well, and he was especially.  Still, another 45 to go and we are well in the game, lets hope the lad keeps his head and bangs another one in.

It's more about consistency. You'll never see that given the other way. You'll never see that given against any of the big teams.

I thought it was a penalty. Gentleman Jim and Paul Parker also agree.

A clear penalty to my mind and an incredibly stupid one to give away. Whatever one thinks of the ref he'd given two clear warnings and our dim lot do exactly the same again.

I agree with you Sgt. Fulham but thats down to other refs to be consistent with this one then. If its a foul then it needs to be called.

Sadly for me, the ref got that 100% correct, you have got to be smarter than that after two warnings.

Maybe it is a penalty, that's fine. I think we all agree that if that's a pen, then Mitro should get 2-3 every game. He gets dragged to the ground several times in CKs and we NEVER got a penalty in our favour.

So it all comes down to consistency, that's what I am fuming about.

Nevertheless I am with you that Pereira needs tp be smarter than that.

Also no idea what people are on about with the penalty, Dawson runs straight into Pereira. That is not a penalty by any definition, and no matter how many thousand warnings have been given (warnings means nothing to the rule book by the way).

The arm can't be offside, because you are not allowed to use it to play the ball. Which conveniently brings us to the next sequence...

Wasn't it really obvious that the striker didn't celebrate, because he knew he'd handled it and it would be chalked off. Utterly bizarre that they've given it. If VAR can't see that it changed direction after touching his hand, maybe they need to implement a polygraph instead and ask the player if he touched it???

His confidence and fitness look shot. Partly the clubs fault for having his train by himself all summer. Silly move if we weren't going to bring a replacement in.

Lads need to wake up. Not good enough. Ream and Tosin all over the place. Vinicius did nothing. The injuries and lack of depth kills us.

Wasn't Mbabu for Pereira and move BDR as number 10 a better move? Anything other than Onomah

Second goal was the killer. Players often decide not to celebrate when they score........

Without Mitrovic we are relegation fodder. Need to consider this in January when it comes to signing new players.

You can't play 11 players, the officials and VAR and expect to win.

I no longer attend away games due to lack of time but these poor decisions are ruining it for our travelling fans.

I think this is very incorrect. And in any case we won't be getting a high calibre PL striker for a multitude of reasons. We could easily have won today with a half decent ref.

That could be a crushing defeat given the circumstances. We are still conceding far far too many goals, and without Mitro we dont look a threat at all going forward.

We played that second half far too passively and our build up play is too slow.

He's got to think about bringing Diop in to try and stop leaking so many goals. No idea what we can do at the other end of the pitch

Pathetic defending by Ream - just shift it.
3 absolute gifts
Some seriously poor performances and a very weak bench
If Vinicius is the answer , f@@k knows what the question is ..
We concede far too many goals
Need a win quick...

Any positives? Wilson back on the pitch. Pereira's great goal. Robinson back.

Shocking defending there but really we've been killed by ref deciisons today. Completely turned around the game.

Stupid avoidable situations in back-to-back games... Chalobah/Ref screwed us last game, now todays circus....
Not too concerned, we'll pick up points so not gonna read too much into it to be honest. Tete, Willian, Mitro and then Solomon to come back in, Wilson getting minutes... we'll be fine

Bournemouth, Villa, Leeds, Everton next up... Some winnable games there, providing we dont get more VAR b.s

Shocking decisions, a penalty for something Dan Burn was praised for in Newcastle's game yesterday and happens at every set piece. A double hand ball for the second, his hand taking pace on the ball and his elbow controlling it and then a gift of a goal at the death, which I have just seen is also a handball. Can't beat VAR, seems like revenge for Marcos comments.

We need Wilson and Solomon or at least Tete back so BDR can play on the wing. We lack so much in depth it's obvious to see, even for the blind. We are so reliant on our initial staring 11 - why is Onomah even on the pitch? Give the kids a chance at this point.
