Karlos

                            Fabri
S Sess Chambers Ream La Marchand
             Anguissa  McDonald
  Markovic         Cairney        R Sees
                           Mitro

Rico has had a nightmare last few games and no harm giving Fabri a chance.
Love Odoi but he's just not good enough for Prem.
Bryan could do with being out for a few games
Need to get Kmac the  side and you can't drop Chambers so play him in his natural position
Markovic over Babel  and Schurrle as other 2 don't do enough for me.... work rate wise

Steven Sessegnon played for the u23 side last night so he won't feature.

Neil D

Fabri for me or even Rodak.  It doesn't much matter. Rico needs to understand that his consistently inept handling of crosses has a penalty.

Rico's on loan anyway - what does he care ?
Chambers - performance faded last few games - mind is on returning to Arsenal and having a holiday in Vegas - he's done his best - not fair stop it !!!
Schurrle - in it for himself and 1m Twitter followers in Germany

Rodak is on loan to Rotherham and is playing well but cannot play for us this season. Norman is the third choice keeper so he would be my choice.

Tbh i would suggest Rico does care and was one of the very few new players who applauded the fans at the Southampton match. Pretty much all the top foreign keepers struggle early on with crosses, infact there was a good article on the bbc website about this with the Liverpool keeper and De Gae.

Chambers was played right mid last game so cant really judge him and seems to me to always give 100%.

The problem with Schurle is although he goes missing he does score goals.

I'd play Schullre against Chelsea his former club as he should have a point to prove.

The problem with picking the team is that there are so few players that have been consistently decent this season and up to the level of the Premier League.  I think Mitro, Babel and Chambers are the only definite's in this respect.  Then I think intermittently Rico, Bryan, Odoi, Seri, Cairney and Sessegnon have been ok - but all have struggled at various times and have weaknesses to their game that have been exposed.  All the rest have been poor on the whole - Schurrle has contributed a few goals but nothing else, Ream and MLM too slow for this league, Christie struggling to be effective at both ends of the pitch. I think it is unfair to say the players don't try - Vietto works hard every time he plays, but has struggled physically and his decision making is poor. I can see that Anguissa wants to contribute, but he is embarrassingly off the pace and I cannot think of a single contribution he has made in a game- whether it is a good pass, tackle or clearance.  It will be interesting to see if Parker can get more out of him in particular (as an ex central midfielder himself), but personally he wouldn't even make the bench if I'm picking the team.

I strongly suspect Chambers will have been one of those players unhappy with the latter stages of the previous regime as he was doing okay and showed more fight than some circa Christmas. Like many of the team if played in the right position with at least some support he will be better.

Or as you say he is in Vegas. I doubt Parker will stand for anything short of 110% from today so if he drops off he will be on The Strip early.

I would like this lineup:

Fabri
Odoi Chambers Nordtveit Sess
Anguissa Seri
Markovic Cairney Babel
Mitro

We have almost nothing to lose so I think we should play very offensively in every game.

Bring Barry Hayles back out of retirement, clone him 11 times. So we can have a team of Barry Hayles.
