Everything is difficult before it's easy!

I wonder how much steed and boa would have been worth if Ryan is valued at that
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

A medical has only been penciled in & the fee is unknown as are any clauses. Probably will go but the details are pure speculation.

25 million ——- Ducking bargain Levy you .....
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Steven Ageroad

£25 million, allegedly, we will never know.

junior white

Will never know but newspapers say we want 45 million and spurs willing to pay 25 million doesn't sound great from outside. However as we will never know not going to get worked up. Maybe 25 and a player

Finnans Right Peg

The lad only has 1 year left on his contract no way we are getting 45 million .

Being realistic id say the best we can hope for is 20 million plus a young player that scott knows about and maybe some add ons for ryan like a sell on fee or england caps or spurs winning the league .

I wish he would have signed a new contract to give us more room to negotiate with other clubs but i wish him all the best

bog

Good luck to him, I just hope that his bruv Steve don't go with him and we get a few good seasons out him at rb.

Not sure why we'd treat Wayne Veysey / Football Insider as any more reliable than the other sources saying the same thing all summer.

Also interesting that the article, if true, says negotiations are have focussed on the "structure" of the deal. Which of course means we won't be getting anything like £25m up front.

Mike the White

Just hope Steven is not part of the deal. I see a future for him as right wing back

Probably £10 mil up front, £1 mil when he completes 20 1st team games, £1 mil when he scores 10 league goals , £3 mil when he gets his 1st England cap & a final £30 mil when he scores a hat trick to win the World Cup for England. Plus a sell on of 25%

How much have relegated clubs lost in the past. Players going after the drop at bargin prices etc
I'm pretty impressed we've held on to a few who you'd think would have gone. 25 million for a player worth a 100 million in a few years will be a bitter pill to swallow but it could very well go the other way and the lad doesn't climb those heights  and 25 mill will seem a result.
Personally wish him well and hope he goes on to a brilliant career as the 2nd best player in the Sessegnon family  :)

filham

So it is not a done deal yet, wish it could be sorted quickly, it has been dragging on all through the close season and no one is better off.

Ordar

I'm personally ok with him going, as long as we get a sell on %.

If he doesn't want to be here then let him go. £25m seems reasonable given he only has a year left.

I'm in the minority who doesn't think he's a premier league player

I agree with everything aside from the fact you think he's not a premier league player. He is. He did well last season and season till made an impact despite his age and first season in that league. He'll go on to be successful. Aside from moussa dembele I've not been confident about any other of our academy players to the same degree of certainty.

We've flogged a player to them for the price of a terrace roof in the past ...there's something to mull over........

So getting £25m out of Levy's iron grip  - 50p piece at a time using a spanner - doesn't seem so bad.

filham

We will never know the details of any Sess. deal but will have to rely on media guesses, it sounds as though  it will break our transfer record which I think stands at about £12m.
Whatever the fee you can rest assured Spurs will be getting the bargain, they usually do.

Players that go for high fees are normally wanted by multiple teams, like West Ham and Fulham wanted Anguissa.

I don't see any team interested in going into a bidding war apart from Tottenham. One Bidder makes a bad auction for the seller?

Danitar

If anyone knows. Is it £25mill and a sell on or £25mill and a spurs player which has been banded about or is it just £25mill and we've done a poor job?
