Since the 1907/08 season we have won 4-1 away in the league a mere 22 times, but 5 of those have happened in the last 9 seasons. And our 5-1 away win at Huddersfield was our first such win since the 1988/89 season and one of only five 5-1 away wins in the league in our history.

In chronological order from our first one in 1921/22, we have won 4-1 away in the league against Sheff Wednesday, Exeter, Bradford PA, BIRMINGHAM (Aug 1952), Leeds, Stockport, Swindon, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Preston, Cardiff, Scunthorpe, Plymouth, Luton, Tranmere, Newcastle, Palace, Bristol C, Huddersfield, Reading and finally Birmingham (again).

What was the score when we beat Birmingham in Tiganas season.
Was it first game of the season .?

Great to see us scoring goals after the goal drought of last season.
Looking forward to more on Saturday but you can never be sure, suddenly we could stop scoring.

Fernhurst

If the majority of our squad are fully fit I fear a hammering for Reading.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Not just that, but we've now won as many games after 7 of this season, than we did for the whole of last season! Happy days and long may it continue.

Didn't Ray Houghton score a blinder in the Newcastle win.

I remember when we beat Newcastle away 4-1 and Crossley was MOTM for us. He made about 100 saves including one with his face!

The Souness interview afterwards was fantastic.
