Somerset Fulham

We don't know this.

As I have just said on another thread, there is literally nobody to blame here.

Liverpool have been making noises throughout the window so they do get some blame

Never ever being offered £100k a week. Not even close but a Liverpool friend of mine that's ITK is convinced it's a done deal with a loan back

I just hope he's wrong

I think the 12 mill fee is correct, although we won't see all of it, a certain % is paying off the Wilson fee which gives us more FFP wriggle room. Wouldn't expect us to get much more than 5 million in cash
And what about the pony tail boy fee the thieves owe us?

ChesterTheTabby

If we get 12 million for Fab, in cash, plus the loan back, it's good business considering he's a goner.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

£100,000 per week at age 19 and we thought Haynes had hit the big time on £100 per week.
It really is ridiculous and a national wage cap just has to be agreed.

It's just stupid money that cure diseases and help underprivileged townships... but given to a 19 year old for kicking a ball.

He was going to leave in the summer for free so now if we got £12m and him playing for us for the rest of the season, then it doesn't sound that bad.

Worrying we don't have a creative, technical no.10 now
Yes and we have plenty of time and £12m to find a replacement.

No wonder Liverpool cant afford a whole squad, but if he is on 100K you can guarantee Elliott will want it and the other youngsters breaking into there team

Don't want a loan back if he's going then go now , I wont cheer a player that doesn't want to be at Fulham .
Growing old is mandatory
Growing up is optional

Really hope we've got someone lined up to get in. Strong chance his performances fall off a cliff if this gets confirmed - we can't afford that.

Maybe go in for Tom Lawrence?

Unfortunately, for me, this is the difference between a club staying in the Prem and staying as a yo yo club. If we can keep those young up and comers for at least a season in the Prem, and they prove they can cut it and warrant a big move elsewhere, fine, but not being able to hold on to key talent for another season at least, just shows where we are as a club unfortunately. Be a real shame if this window cements the fact our squad will at the least, be worse off next season, at the worst, for this season as well as I struggle to see any players of Fabio's ilk being available for any reasonable price.

But we live in a system that pays huge amounts of money for bureaucracy and the running of a huge democratic system that pays people for having many different jobs for doing nothing while leaving people in need. Before getting angry about sportsman let's get angry about the paid waste in the system. This goes for every democracy in the World.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

I know it's all rumours at the moment but have I followed all this social media right .... £5 million cash plus  approx £7 million we owe on Wilson so a total of approx £12 million and a loan back for the rest of the season????

Wouldn't be the worst deal in what is a bad situation.

Would love us to work one of Neco Williams (rb), Nat Phillips (cb) or Minamino (acm) into the equation

I agree - if it's true, 12m and a loan is a great deal for a player whose contract expires in 6 months.

I don't understand the people that say he should go now because his heart won't be at Fulham for the rest of season. I'm sure he will want to do well and get promoted with us before he goes. You can't really blame a young guy for wanting to join one of the best teams in the world.

Why not give Stansfield some game time in that position

They took that off the initial Wilson price

St. Andrews White

Any idea who we might bring in to replace him if we don't get him back on loan? Wouldn't mind Todd Cantwell from Norwich

The Intertoto might not exist anymore, but that doesn't matter. We'll still win it again.
