Steeeeeeeeeed

Sheffield United have turned it around against Luton, 2-1 now, the table was looking a bit concerning earlier when Luton were winning, (they were just 6 points behind Fulham, with a game in hand)... but a bit better now.

Quote from: Palhinha Colada on December 26, 2023, 04:29:15 PMLast three halves have been a total walk in the park for two thoroughly mediocre sides. Pretty galling stuff from us.

Yep.

Everything is so laboured and tedious for us.

Neto's had nothing notable to do whatsoever.

I agree and TC looked less than impressed.

TC threw his arms in the air and gave the midfield the hard stare after the Burnley second. Not the most inspiring captaincy you will ever see.

He's had a couple of good games but just not consistent enough. He should be controlling games against Burnley and Bournemouth but he doesn't. If we had more options he'd be back on the bench.

hes not put a foot wrong today. rarely lost posession. hes not a magician. he needs someone to make moves to pass to. or do you expect tc to do that as well?

I can't recall one single error from TC today. If we had "options" there's plenty to bench ahead of TC.

Quote from: TC's Sporran on December 26, 2023, 04:27:10 PMcairney for me looking head and shoulders above anyone else in a white shirt going forward.  everyone else seems to be going through the motions. wheres iwobis speed and trickery? wheres joaos tenacity wheres muniz? and bdr trying clever flicks that invariably lose possession. robinson not getting the opportuinity to go forward.

TC being head and shoulders above the rest isn't really anything to shout about. The bar is pretty low.

my point is there are so many poor poor performances.

Why are our players such prats? What is Leno thinking?

SP

Why have ball boys if they don't give you the ball?

Steeeeeeeeeed

I don't think Leno pushing the ball boy was a good idea. Call me old fashioned.

We are so predictable it is criminal.

should have cantona'd him

Brawn

As with Burnley, I just don't think the players want it enough. Everyone's got their back to goal and there's no off the ball movement whatsoever.

Parker ball by Fulham, disgrace

Nice Xmassy Pantomime Boos for Leno  😊

Woolly Mammoth

Good on the referee for insisting the match balls are returned swiftly.
Although i agree Leno should not have pushed the ball boy.

Fitting that the Scott Parker Cup has been pretty dreadful.

demeant0r

I refuse to be "Marco Out" but in his entire 2.5 seasons at Fulham, we've only ever played one formation. It's so easy for opponents to guess what formation we'll be playing and who'll be starting, it's criminal.

SP

I'm glad the ball boy has been sent off!

Woolly Mammoth

Nice to see Leno cuddling the lad.

Loss to Everton, Bournemoth and Burnley, not good.  Look at the fixtures coming up soon....could be zero points , next 4 or 5 games.  January ....our history suggests not a good month. Add to that, others below us are playing well, starting to win a few games. Points we have will help, but 3 or 4 more defeats, squeeky bum time.
