It's such a lazy old trope to keep saying he slows the game down too much. Without his passing we would rarely get forward across the half way line. Ok and also Willian's running out wide.

ok he has no pace as such but he invariably moves the ball on without taking a touch. how the foot is that slowing the game down?  we are slowly getting into this game. all is not lost. just yet

Yes I agree, he's certainly giving his all. It's just not always effort suitably expended.

you would have liked him in the box when robinson crossed to bdr only for their keeper to deny a scoring chance.

Not enough quality overall. We have created a few bits of danger but it hasn't run for us as yet. Liverpool look like they could score again quite easily.
