On the Sirius Radio Show - "The Football Show"  Giorgio Chinaglia who is the host said that he "doesn't rate Jol as a manager at all". That Fulham's "only" goal is to stay up and they only win matches because "it is so hard to play at Craven Cottage".
"Fulham will be lucky to stay up this year with Jol as manager and roster......"

I am sorry but I am not familiar with Giorgio Chinaglia other than his name and his TV and radio spots. Does he have any credibility???

Chinaglia was a great player in Italy and in the NASL. His family had immigrated to Wales, but Swansea wouldn't give him a trial, so he went to Italy and led SerieA in scoring a few seasons -- scoring 20 goals a season during the darkest days of catanachio, when the average number of goals per match was around 1. He stayed in the USA when the Cosmos folded and, because of his facility with the English language, has often been a commentator on American television. After calling is fellow pundits idiots in 2006 for saying that they thought the USA might get a point against Italy, he predicted a 3-0 beatdown. You may remember that the US finished with 9 players against Italy's 10 with the final score of 1-1. He didn't appear on ABC/ESPN coverage of WC 2010.

All of this is from memory, so I may have some details wrong. He's very outspoken and VERY opinionated. I'm not aware of any personal problem he may have with Jol, but -- obviously -- if he thinks that Jol is going to reverse the Fulham fortunes of the last 10 years ...
