Can you go to Whitby every week please

I thought Muniz was instrumental in both of our goals!
He has been turning them inside out and the ball should be played to him even when he has his back to goal.

Actually I don't think Iwobi has been all that influential. Although he was certainly in the right place at the right time.

Did you see the second goal?

Is that a question or just petty sarcasm?

Both.

Have you got a big No.2 pending? Save it until 85 minutes if you can, come back 4-1 boom!!

Nothing planned but I'll see what I can do.

Great half, apart from a few nervous moments in our half where we needlessly gave the ball away a 3-4 times. It's obvious we're much better than them. Hopefully we'll keep our foot on the gas and try and score more goals.

I think Berge and Lukic have been given much more freedom to go and join attacks today than in any of our games this season.

No! He scored one and made the other in 2 minutes

I already conceded he poked in the first. Yes it was an excellent assist for the second I agree so I suppose I have to take back my commment. Nevertheless prior to that two minute spell I genuinely didn't think he had been terribly influential. Of course I'll get a load of smart arse answers but I stand by my view at that time.

He has been lucky to have been given a lot of space all half.

My first sub would probably be Kevin for King. I think King has been one of our best players since the mistake he made that lead to their goal, but he's on a yellow and in a game like this, we can't risk a red. Iwobi and Wilson have been very good today too, so not like any one of them should be subbed soon either.

To be fair, there's not been one player who's been poor so far. Lukic has been mid, with a terrible back pass that could've gifted them a second. King has been good since his mistake.

Exactly! Muniz is probably doing exactly what Marco wants him to do. With Marco's tactics the number 9 role is very much about hold up play and creating chances for the wingers and the number 10. Muniz is really good at this.

Everyone have been superb so far today, doing exactly what's needed from their respective roles in the team. Brentford's goal should never have happened of course. King showed his lack of experience there, but he's learning, and apart from two horrible passes he has been one of our best players.

We're gonna win this unless we do something REALLY stupid. We look BY FAR the better team.

hongkongfulham

so much space in between the lines today, really plays to our strengths rather than team sitting deep. Brentford look like they don't have ideas jn the build up. big second half

And a shite coloured kit.

Yeah I'm not sure what they were smoking when they signed that off. It's up there with the infamous Man Utd grey seizure kits.

Please explain how. His first touch is poor. He might have got in the way of a defender maybe but more by luck than judgement.
Did you see the two goals? Him battling hard enabled Iwobi to get a chance to score the first goal. On our second goal, he won the aerial battle and then continued to work hard to get to the ball faster then Brentford players, which he managed to do, and then he was very composed, gave a good pass to Iwobi who gave it to Wilson for 2-1.

OK. I've just watched the replays - he certainly assisted the second goal. Not sure about how much he affected the first; I'll watch it again later. He certainly has a value in a melee close to goal but I'd like to see him taking the ball past his marker from outside the box. I suppose you could call him a "poacher" and that can be valuable. The jury is still out for me.
