Frustrating today to not get at least a point, a toe away from potentially winning it

But

Burnley
West ham
Nottingham forest

The next 3 up.

Vital to get results in these games and we're certainly capable of doing so.

Onwards

hongkongfulham

with how tight the table is we will know alot more about our fate after these 3.

Nothing less than nine points will do.

Fulham 1879

Those 3 games coming up could give us plenty of breathing space or leave us in a relegation dogfight. Important period coming up.

Coastwalker

Well we haven't won at Turf Moor since Dinosaurs were around,so not taking anything for granted on Saturday.

We are in a relegation fight.

Hugely significant three games. Gutting to get nothing today, as it does mean we have to keep looking over our shoulder.

I know it's ridiculous but when we need points, I don't like seeing Burnley and West Ham which are lets face it both bogey teams for us. I'm sure Silva won't care a jot about that, but so many unhappy memories against those teams.

FFC007

9/9 has to be the priority.

We got Palace, Liverpool then Chelsea after Xmas.

God help us if we lose to bloody Parkerball.

FFC1987

I'm in the relegation scrap camp now. Just really struggling to name 6 teams worse than us.....we have an awful record of conceding cheap, and not creating enough consistently to win games.

The minute we look like we're getting better, we hammer home an awful performance like that. Margins are fine. We just find ourselves more often than not on the wrong side of them.

It wasn't an awful performance. The only thing awful about it was the defence. Our attack was pretty solid.

Without Sess or Jedi, we're awful at defending the left and we keep conceding from corners.

Yeah I worry about our backline. The only players I have confidence in are Tete and Cuenca, who hopefully will stabilise us a bit during AFCON. We obviously miss Robinson a lot. Castagne fills me with dread, he's got a reputation as a safe pair of hands, but I think defensively he always leaves us very vulnerable.

I don't really think we created much up top either though?

We wouldn't need to if we didn't have to score a minimum of 2-3 goals every match to win a game.

With our players, we absolutely do need to create more chances. Our players aren't clinical finishers....

Today confirmed what .any of us have been saying. We are in a relegation fight, Silva is not good enough and some of these players are not premier stabdard

Moussa Dembele the 3rd

I don't think we are in a relegation scrap, but we give away far too many cheap goals. Anderson being the main culprit recently.

Funny how nobody was saying that before today when we were in a series of good results.

This is where my real concern lies, it's not that we are awful it's just that so many other teams are better than us. Burnley/Wolves/West Ham are the only teams I would say are comfortably worse than us.

Jules

There was a decent point there for  us today, but yet again we concede cheaply from a corner. Next game is huge. We must get 3 points v Burnley. Won't be easy but take the game to them and we should win.

I wouldn't start Andersen in the next game. He was very poor against Man City and he was pretty poor today. When he is in such poor form, his 3 or 4 exceptional diagonal balls don't make up for being poor defensively. Unless it's in a back 3 or as a left back, I'd seriously consider starting Cuenca over Bassey too.
