Distribution from lecomte is appalling

DevonFFC

He flaps at crosses and shots and then goal kicks gives it straight to them

Quote from: KentFulham on December 17, 2025, 08:55:58 PMI guess it isnt the done thing to sub a keeper when playing bad, not sure why but I can only think of keepers being subbed when injured?

Yeh hell of a statement to sub off a keeper , but at this rate I wouldn't put it last Marco as it does seem to have affected the team a bit. Much more nervy with all the continuous fluffing of his punches and kicking

jayffc

Berge playing very well again thankfully

Deeping_white

Jimenez looks to be in discomfort? Surely can't be keeping him on too long as we need him this weekend

LittleErn

We're feeding off scraps. No real outlet that can hold on to the ball under pressure so we're rushing passes.

Heroics? Let's not go overboard. He conceded a fairly soft goal in regular time and made two saves in penalties (one of which was not terribly difficult).

Didn't he save 3 or 4 penalties?

I Ronic

That first half flew by. What a game.

ron

Maybe he's rattled by St James's Park compared with Adams Park..?

bencher

Started well, conceded poorly, good equalizer, then have gradually been less able to attack or do anything of note.

There will be gaps to exploit but we have to be more composed and not get pushed off the ball before we can release it.

SerbianLad

Decent first half. We had moments in which we were they had moments in which they were better.

Lecomte worries me. He doesn't seem to be composed at all. His poor moments gave Newcastle momentum every time too.

Defence has largely done well, particularly Cuenca who's been superb.

Berge-Lukic-ESR midfield trio has done well.

Wilson has been okay(and helped out defensively a lot too), Kevin - hit and miss.

Raul has been great, imo.

Yeah, it was 3, points stands though.  Two of the three penalties he saved were poorly taken. And the goal he conceded in regular time was soft.

Kevin really has done more harm than good but i have a feeling if he scores he will settle down.

Twig

Hi all, been too engrossed to post on here. Obviously Lecomte has been poor both his punching and his distribution.  Not been impressed with Kevin either, his judgement (and sometimes his execution) not good. All the rest doing well although towards the end of the half I was concerned that Raul seemed to slow right down.

Er

Sir

He saved 3 and one was a brilliant save too

Goal he conceded was a good strike from Cauley with the defender obscuring his view 🤷

Seems like ya being overly harsh. I think perfectly fair to refer to heroics when you save 3 pens which see your team get through

Also just watched it back: 2 very good pen saves in the either corner

Just checking in... I'm at a Clutch gig atm. Hope we can finish this off.

Even better than I expected.
His anticipation and timing are spot on. A mystery why he has not been a regular. AND he has never dropped a clanger as far as I can recall.
I am confident in not tempting fate.
