Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

First State

Nope - been there, done that.

JimmyConway

Don't see him as a box to box type midfielder. We have better technical No10 position players. Don't see it personally but difficult to second guess football transfers nowadays.

What matters is what Silva wants.

St Eve

No. His last cameo was terrible and lacked any effort or passion. Luckily it's all meaningless. He would never come to Fulham and we most certainly would never want him back

Matt10

I've already said my piece in the transfers thread, but I'm a Yes.

Playing well for AC Milan at the moment and placed in all types of positions. Has been through three managers and still fitting in future plans throughout. The transfer availability is a bit of a surprise to me.

Could care less about last time. Completely different situation with coming off a serious injury and we were used to work towards that rehabilitation. Don't need him to tap the badge, not his style. Doesn't get too high emotionally or too low. Builds depth behind Lukic and can play outside mid in defensive setups. He can progress the ball, has good vision, good height and can find the back of the net. I don't see why he'd not be an option to be considered.

With that said, doubt he'd come to Fulham after being at Milan. Can we have Modric?  ::tongue::

bog

No thanks. When he was with us last time I called him Leftus-Quick.

Karlos

100% no!

One of the worst players I've seen in a Fulham shirt in the last 20 years

Craven Mad

It's a hesitant 'yes' from me.

He didn't work for us last time, but neither did loads of quality players. Scott Parker did not know how to use our excellent squad, and I don't really blame RLC for his part in our relegation.

If Marco wants him, I think he'd suit our current team. He's been decent for Milan, knows the club/league, and we aren't exactly stacked at CM right now...

Apologies Matt 10 - I always respect and read your insights because they are quality . In this case I can respect and even believe what you think of his skill set etc . However perhaps what you couldn't see from watching the various broadcasts when he was playing for us was his demeanour . You encapsulated an element of it with your comment

" With that said, doubt he'd come to Fulham after being at Milan"

He looked like he hated being at Fulham - that we were beneath him. You don't have to " kiss the badge " but you do have to respect the club that are paying ( some ) of your wages and getting you back to match fitness.
Even if you couldn't care less about the club and fans you have teammates that you also need to respect.
I could never forgive him for his attitude - so it will always be a " no " from me - regardless of of his talent

SerbianLad

I think he's been decent for Milan. That being said, he might be more suited to Serie A than to PL. I still think he's overrated as well and always has been.

I also think he'd need to play extremely well in pretty much every game to turn over the Fulham fanbase.

Yeah you make a good point, I never noticed the attitude issues because I'm just given access from afar through filtered lens.

It's also been almost 5 years. I know he had an Achilles injury, which is one of the absolute worse ones to go through. I am going through it myself and know it makes me extremely timid to go in 100%. Like any injury, the mental issues that stem from this type of injury is brutal. I've torn my ACL in the past as well and I'd gladly trade that over an Achilles injury.

However, yes, respect to the teammates and fans - sure. I don't know, or can't remember, any specific incidents, but of course that would leave a sour taste. I'd respect him for coming here and trying his best to do right though.

I've heard he makes a decent cuppa tea

Bassey the warrior

Wasn't he called up to England under Tuchel? He can't be that bad, I haven't followed him very closely though. I just remember how much stick Lookman got and his career really took off after leaving, so not going to take too much from RLC's time here (he was very poor).

He does have the right profile though, box to box midfielder with a bit more attacking nous than Lukic.
