To be fair here, Kent didn't say replace Silva! Just that sometimes he bottles it (in other other words) when we could be braver and go for it!

I tend to agree watching some performances!
We've done well without the Nigerians and so Kent is correct in that we could/should have been more confident.

If we were to replace Silva then there are plenty of managers out there, 19 other PL ones for a start. However, this discussion was more about the odd selection from Silva given the opposition we had and the results we have come off the back of

He certainly is when it comes to pushing on for Europe, we saw it last season and we are seeing it right now. His selection and changes were baffling. If we want a manager who is happy with 10-12th in the table, playing it safe, then Silva is probably a decent choice, and a manager who is capable of going further, I dont think he is the right man, so to your original point, it depends on your expectations, mine are for something better than mid to top of the bottom half

But you don't know the status of the players. Marco said that player selection and substitutions were driven by tiredness and injury issues. He had to work with what he had.
