That's a bit easier number for me considering I haven't seen anything outstanding from the matches I reviewed. I am not 100% if he will work for Marco's system of high defensive work rate, so it's possible he'd be a 10 for us in setting the early press, then being further up near the striker. He may benefit with space and pace of the PL though, not to mention anyone under Marco is in a good position to develop.

Appreciate in watching 2 full games you've seen more of him than most here who will only have checked his highlights,... and see you've been left unsure, but the Udinese fans who watch him week in week out seem to universally think he's top class, so assume they've seen something in him over the course of the last seaon and a half (I gather he also recently returned from a minor injury fwiw). If you'd watched our last game in full you'd think almost our entire team were absolute headless chickens 😅

According to all reports from fans and stat sites he plays CM/8 mostly. Seems from what I've seen he's more a ball carrier than an outright DM or AM type.

One person I wouldn't mind us looking at is Niccolo Pisilli. young talented CM at Roma, every time I see him I think there's a player there. He's not quite there yet and unlikely to get in ahead of Kone (who I also rate but who will be too expensive for us) but one of the better talents to come through the academy - better than bove who we showed interest in before. I find it a shame that he doesn't get more minutes because I think he's showing really good signs of a being a good progressive CM.

Was miffed when rumours circulated Spurs were in for him but that fell away in the end thankfully. Someone tell the scouts at Fulham 😅

Yeah, I try not to overanalyze too much with these rumor signings, but this Atta is a strange character to me. It reminds me of watching hours, reading forums, of Andre when we were fairly serious in pushing for him. I just didn't really understand how he'd fit and/or what type of profile he'd accomplish for Marco.

With Atta, it's strange because he has the profile closer to Loftus-Cheek than he does Dembele like someone mentioned. Yes, he can dribble fairly direct, but Dembele's dribbling was direct and cut across angles at pace/deception with a low center of gravity. Atta stays fairly upright, but has quick feet and his frame makes it tough to win the ball outright. I think he could be a versatile option for us though and the neighborhood of €15-25m is a bit more reasonable than the €30-40m range.

I would be absolutely delighted if this came off but he does have a hamstring injury and as others have said it could be a smokescreen for Wilson to sign or Galatasaray's Sara to decide if he wants to come

Other than that it's just become a bit of fun. He hasnt broken any news himself, only correctly confirmed or denied things already in motion before they were finalised. 3 for 3 so far. The only outstanding prediction is Wilson close to signing a contract. He's laying the foundations currently for that to not happen, would be the first one he got "wrong"

I believe he called a few things early over summer. One was defo Kevin when reports everywhere were saying he was going elsewhere he laid it down saying he'll 100% be a Fulham player. Think there may be some other bits too. The fanbase were convinced he was Tony in disguise. 😂

May have just got lucky of course. We'll see but all a bit of fun not to be taken too seriously. Silly season! 😊
