Is that all it's going to cost us to get rid?
I think comments like this are ridiculous and incredibly disrespectful. I'm not singling you out, I could have quoted some other posts, but it's just ridiculous, imo. He was a very good and very important player for us in a lot of games, especially last season. He kept Wilson out of the team for a long time, and deservedly so, because he was playing really well at the time.
I am guessing the comment you are referencing was light-hearted and I was about to like that before I saw your reply, personally I think we have only seen fleeting glimpses of the form  Adama inevitably showed when playing against us. He seems to have lost all confidence on taking players on his touch has been poor and his defensive abilities are non existent (apart from corners we are defending where he seems intent on grappling and opposition player which scares the life out of me surprised this hasn't resulted in a penalty or two by now), I think last season players coming on as subs seemed to out perform the starter they were replacing for example Wilson would come on play like a world beater start the next game and be poor, his replacement would play well.....you get the picture.

He'll always be underated by a segment of our fanbase, we live in a time where people like to be extreme online for banter. Think we both agree he's been below his previous levels this year, but the hyperbole around how poor he is is overboard and in moments, can and has at times been just outright nasty tbh.

Guy had 11 G/A last year in all comps in 1958 mins
That's 0.5 G/A per 90 mins.

We've had many, many, wingers with far worse contributions in their time here than haven't been subjected to boos when they come on. Came on a free and will go with my gratitude for his part in keeping this club competitive and playing his part in a season where we won more games than ever before in our history. Perhaps a sign of how spoilt we've become as a fanbase, so....maybe that's a, good sign? 😅

Whilst I'm not opposed to signing Ferguson, that would mean we have two young and relatively inexperienced strikers in the Premier League, Ferguson and Muniz. I'm a huge fan of Muniz, who has developed a lot but he is still young and he's only started 30 Premier League games in the last three years, plus 34 as a sub. Feel gutted for him because every time he hits good form he gets injured.

Would we keep Raul for another year?

As I said in the post, it's not exactly aimed at that poster, it's more about the general sentiment online. A lots of fans are saying much worse things than that.

As for the rest of your post, I think you're underrating Adama's contributions too. He was excellent in large parts of last season.

FFC1987

Traore has, and will always be a victim of his potential. Once touted due to his explosive athleticism, both strength, and speed, if he had the ability to match, he could of been the great leveller. Still very useful regardless, and in some examples, a real asset. Did well for us regardless of the negative comments but does feel like he needs a fresh outlook to perhaps kick start his form again.

I don't mind the negative stuff as I think contextualising it above, it makes more sense but its still not how I see it. But the games about opinions.

Adama was better last year for sure but apart from Ipswich away where he was one of our better players I don't think he offered enough, I can't disagree with the stats you quoted but personally I would much rather have Wilson in the team who makes rus off the ball and provides options for the player on the ball, Adama seems not to provide this outlet.

Hopefully this doesn't come across as me picking on Adama, just giving my opinion.

If we can negotiate a reduced salary then I would say Raul is definitely worth another year.

I am not one to slag any player.
But against Boro in the FA cup he was our worst player ,and i don't like saying that at all, also think it's good for him and club to find a new challenge.

bencher

Mateta available for transfer, £40m the price - presumably hoping a big club go in for him, any chance of old Fulham being big enough? He'd suit us pretty well.

Definitely not.

He'd consider Fulham sideways and wants to be playing for France, so will be wanting a move to a big club.

Not for me. I actually don't really rate him, think he's a bit clumsy on the ball, just has hit a purple patch of form

St Eve

Has anybody heard of Rayan, a Brazilian striker? Apparently Boscombe are getting him fo 30 million

I'd never heard of him but the reviews are incredible, sold Semenyo for £65 million and bought this young lad for £30 million,  might turn out to be great business (again)

It's not often we disagree SL and i'm sorry you and a few others think it's disrespectful. You are entitled to disagree but i stand by my thoughts on Adama for the money we have paid him over the term of his contract i feel we got very little back with this season showing a total lack of effort in his cameo appearances.
