Any chance of buying Aina off Forest?

Solid ex-FFC player, reasonable RB cover.

Provided it was ~£15m wouldn't be a bad buy.

He's going to be 30 this October. That's a no from me.

What about Fleming from Burnley for us?
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

As a back up would not object. Definitely an upgrade on Muniz...

It describes in more detail what purportedly scuppered the deal (at least from PSV's perspective).

Which is summarised as essentially; Fulham wanted to agree a deal now that becomes effective in July when the transfer window opens, which would give us chance to pull out if he got injured. Not sure why PSV seem to think that's so contentious given the fee involved - we can't afford to spend €35m up front on a player who's done their ACL in between the time we agreed the fee and the date he actually became a Fulham player. Also not sure why anyone wouldn't think it a pragmatic solution; PSV know that all they need to keep Pepi fit so don't play him or let him do any strenuous training that denies their payday, and then if he gets to July in one piece...
Of course PSV can only control what happens with him through May 17th. He'll be in the US training camp starting in early June with a couple of friendlies and at least 3 WC matches that month.
What's the normal guidelines on pre transfer date deals surely this is not a first.

If Pepi got injured during the World Cup Which club would he belong to? I'm with Fulham on this.
so am I to much risk from our side.

as a midfielder is more important and retain Raul.

@jolslover

Don't particularly rate Flemming, not a prem level striker. Maybe for a team that has just come up but we should be aiming for better

8 goals in 22 league games in a dreadful Parkerball Burnley relegation side is hardly that bad? Agree would like to aim higher but certainly wouldn't complain if he was a backup.

South Coast White

So that's 3 first team players lost to AFCON then.

AFCON will be held in the summer going forward.

Not a problem anymore as they've moved it to the summer

Also think Wilson will get a big signing on fee so he will be history.
