It's being reported tonight that an agreement in principle has now been reached between Mourinho and Real Madrid, that means the Benfica job will shortly be available,
Can Benfica match the terms that Fulham have offered him, that's the 64 Million Dollar question, we'll find out next week no doubt.

Nothing could move forward until Mourinho and Madrid made their decision,  now that's done things should start to move quickly.

I've said before on here, I personally would like to give him a decent send off at the Newcastle game,that would be fair for him and the fans.

I think the reason we're not hearing anything is because the other Managerial moves have to happen before any announcements.

If Silva wanted money he would have gone to Saudi Arabia this is more about managing at a higher level.

I honestly believe that Marco's friend Jose would have told him months ago that he would be leaving Benfica this summer, and in doing so Benfica representatives would have contacted Marco's representatives months ago, all of which our great Club would have been well aware of,
If he joins Benfica I'm actually fairly confident that we have got all our ducks in a row,
Expect news from Bournemouth, Chelsea, Palace and Fulham quite quickly as the season draws to a close,
I for one, am quite excited by what the future holds, onwards and upwards.

I appreciate and salute what Silva has done for our club but I've grown tired and irritated by his teams performances (with too few exceptions) this season.

Time for him to move on for all parties concerned to breathe new life into both the team and his career.

Any fear I have of the unknown with a new manager is balanced by the feeling that change is needed to avoid a struggle next season if he stays.

We all new it was coming especially the way we have been playing he's going home.The club needs to change to make sure the club is run properly and a coach cannot be bigger than club.Gray left we struggle to keep a clean sheet.Our academy under the present leadership has run on close to 20 years and we produced aplayer at Brentford currently injured and lightweight,player at liverpool on loan at Aston Villa not playing lightweight,roberts Sunderland lightweight and finally king possible the best of the lot but lightweight that is all we have got from our present setup obviously scouting and type of player needs to change and then their is Dof I wonder who will take the job I think the present prime minister will be looking for a job soon maybe he's just what we want he hasn't got a plan will fit in well ,What a time for selling season tickets will be slow especially if they loose to wolves and Newcastle.

I don't really see the distinction. Agent or Marco, either means he's entertaining the idea of leaving.
