Live in Norwich and would definitely love Makama. What an inspired signing.

Probably wiser not to sign him, in my opinion. He hasn't made an impact in most of his recent appearances. There may be mitigating circumstances, of course, but I don't think the Club can afford to take the risk, should his early form with us turn out to be nothing more than 'a flash in the pan'.

So we're now going to have to get 1 RW and 1 LW as well as 1 striker and 1 CM at a minimum. There's going to have to be some serious haggling because I don't see us having enough money to pass SCR/PSR with the amount these players will cost.

Do we really ever look for a bargain in our own lower leagues.
I watched Notts County play off final, winger for County Jodi Jones was everywhere, skilful fast, and ghosted past their defence to score third goal.
I know it's a huge step up,but with better coaching,and would cost a pittance.
Jamie Vardy from Halifax Town springs to mind if your given that chance.

Dodgin

Watched Jodi Jones at Bromley, had a good game, been around a bit, probably his best year. A no from me though.

The mitigating circumstances being his mother died. He was one of our star performers before that happened so it's fair to give him some time to grieve and he'll be back to his best. Look at what happened to Liverpool, performances dropped off in the first parts of the season.

He's already 28. Vardy was 24/25 when he was bought by Leicester so that's a pretty big difference.

JJ's ultra talented but too much of a step up too. He's injury history ain't great either. Reason why Notts have kept him for so long

No difference if you look after yourself,I'm fitter than I was 15 years ago,and so is Vardy at 38,still banging them in at Cremonese

The caveat to what you are saying, however, is that, up to now, giving Chukwueze time has cost us nothing extra. To do so from this point onwards will require a transfer fee - likely in the region of £20M. Too big an amount to risk, my hunch tells me, to find out whether he can reproduce his early performances on a regular basis. If, in your opinion, the Club should be prepared to part with good money to give him more time, fair enough. At least, between us, one of us will be making the better call.

He's just been released, maybe do us as third choice striker if Raul leaves, can come off the bench when needed for a season. Sign JKA and send him on loan for experience.

MickTheBeard

Yes as the Nigerian winger is on over 125,000 week and is 27 and the Italians want too much money  for a squad player who hasn't shown a desire to impact a game even as a sub.But hay we won't buy anyone till silva has officially has made his decision and we have named our new coach he will want some different options and with money tight he will need some kitty.Obviously if silver leaves he will give us money for giving munis a rise, tetes pay rise for being injured and for Anderson for making him a multi millionaire at pretending he was a good leader and defender mind you tony took him on loan 1st so we might have the wrong culprit their,it will be interesting to see who applies with our baggage behind the scenes we won't get a winner.

ffcthereligion

Chukuweze had two good halves in his loan with us (city and spurs). Thats it

Too often fans of our club over praise inconsistent performers and I can only hope the hierarchy are more ruthless before they splurge another 20m plus a player who will not improve our starting XI. That attitude cost us a 40m Muniz sale which we will likely live with the consequences of until the end of the decade

I would love us to go for Axel Disasi (Chelsea) he was outstanding on loan for West Ham and their supporters are gutted that they've lost him.
