Just seen posted by Slough Town that Richard Teale has passed away, he played a handful of games for Fulham in the late 70's

I was at the away game v Blackpool 27th November 1976 when Richard was in goal , we lost 3-2 . As a side note , if you watch the highlights , I'm right at the front waving my arms celebrating a goal ! RIP Richard .

I don't think I ever saw him play for us, but do remember his name appearing in the programme, glad to see you got to celebrate at Blackpool from memory we rarely seemed to win there (when I went) the only exception that springs to mind is when we won 3 2, I want to say Horsfield Pesch and Morgan scored but I probably got that wrong.

RIP was he beaten by a wonder goal in that game I think it was on MOTD.

Made his debut for Fulham in the first game of the 76/77 season (Mellor Injured???)
Played 5 league games over the season (Peyton arrived in December as Mellor's replacement)
