Good solid start from him...

Purely as a discussion point I would say that he is not big enough to play as a CH in the Premier League but his positional play and passing ability may suggest that he could be used as a fullback or midfield.

He played okay today. Is this his first World Cup?

Isn't it pretty much Canada's first WC?

Google says they were in the WC in 86 and 22

I was keen to see him. He looked nervous, as to be expected by someone young in their first WC game, but gave a decent performance.
I don't see him as the finished article yet but a WC tournament together with facing a relegation battle this season while on loan would have seen him develop.
Maybe another year on loan and he'll be a valuable addition to our squad

Said on another thread think a season in The Championship would really benefit him as opposed to the standard he played last season. Still early days with him and there is potential there. On last night thought he done okay overall. He read a couple of situations well and won a couple of ariel duels. Looked confident. Not ready to start a campaign in Premiership though personally speaking.

I think a Back 3 would suit him best.
