I can't see how the club operating at a loss has anything to do with whether or not the prices are a rip-off.

Just renewed my season ticket for £1,543. I spent last season in the Putney End, surrounded by tourists recording every moment on their phones and away fans enjoying their annual day out before some inevitably got shown the door before half-time.

Looking forward to a change of scenery this season. I was moved into the Riverside for cup games last season, and I really enjoyed it there, especially being able to get in and out more quickly and the overall matchday experience.

The Riverside facilities are excellent, and I'm excited to finally experience league matchdays from there.

Our group has just added another ST holder in H6, about £950 which equates to £50 a game which isn't too bad.

Another newbie who'll be in line to enjoy the sparkling Hammy end bogs in its full glory!!

Funny how our FFC journey starts, our newbie has been to the grand sum of one game, the recent no show at Arsenal when we were awful. The madness that is following FFC.

I believe surviving the Hammersmith End bogs now forms part of the new ST holder induction course.

Considering some of the JH season tickets were going at £1400 a throw, it certainly for me is a good deal. More food offferings in the Riverside too, plus of course vastly superior bogs, if you can get in the queue quick! 😂

How strict are they in the Putney end in throwing out away fans in the home end?

I've seen a few fans thrown out of the away end, notably Palace fans who lobbed a load of pyrotechnics on the field last season and scorched the surface.

What I would say is that the next two rows in front of me in the same block was charging £3192!

After watching a number of Everton fans openly celebrating their goals last season, I suspect the club take a relaxed view.

It also seems to be acceptable for away fans to celebrate in the Lower Riverside.

We are the only club in England other than maybe Arsenal that enjoys letting their club rip them off. If you tried to charge a grand and a half for 19 games of football at pretty much any other club in the land you would have protests, boycotts, social media campaigns and banners within a week, but no because it's posh old Fulham with our tourist stand we can get away with it. I don't care how plush the seats are or how good the view is, that's a rip off and before long those prices will start to seep into the other less premium areas of the ground.

Any time we play any of the big clubs these days half the ground is full of tourists who either support the big club or are just wanting to see a Premier League game. I started going to Fulham games regularly 10 years ago, the atmosphere has never been leading but it has become markedly worse in recent years and will continue to do so if we keep letting the club exploit us.

To reiterate my earlier point to the OP about spending his/her money on it - you're welcome to do so and if you feel that £80 per game is good value then by all means do. But do consider the wider context - not all of our fanbase (many of whom are younger and/or less wealthy and may be struggling to make ends meet in the current macroeconomic environment) can afford to spend that much money supporting their club, so by letting the club get away with it it is giving them the green light to push ahead and price out the rest of our fanbase in favour of the wealthy.

That's just the good news.
The not so good news is that this bloke keeps getting up to either visit the bathroom or backwards and forwards with refreshments non stop during the game and not only that but prefers to stand for the majority of the game.

A lot of these tourists don't even bother to watch half the match. Too busy talking to one of their group, or looking at their phone or making a call or reading a QVC magazine.
If my late father came back and witnessed this spectacle he would have a fit.
The stand is not so much a Library more a Morgue.

If i had a season ticket for my son and I at Plymouth (the nearest club to where I live now), that'd cost me £1056 to watch League one football. I have two in the Hammersmith End for £1350. So £300 quid more (£8 a game each) to watch Premier league football. I genuinely don't see that as a rip off.
Most of the season tickets at fulham are reasonable. But the headline prices of the Riverside get everyones' back up stirred up by the desperate media who are always on the lookout for a story of some sort.

Also, I had a season ticket for around 17-18 years until 2010. The last cost of that was £425. Cumulative inflation in the years between has been around 66% which amazingly is almost the same that my ticket has risen by.

It's reasonable for now in the Hammersmith End, my point is if we let them get away with it for the Riverside it will soon seep into the rest of the ground. Notwithstanding the fact that new season tickets cost around £200 more than renewals (which priced my girlfriend out of getting one this year) and that they're gradually reducing the number of STs actually available.

I didn't know the club are reducing the number of STs available. However, looking at the thousands of STs currently on general sale, I'm not sure that's an issue?

But I do agree about the new ST holder premium, it's far too high at £200 imo & I know people who've decided not to buy as a result.

I think the fact that there's loads of STs available suggests that they're priced too high?
