I'm all for giving our big signing a chance but it's an early red flag from me that AA has a blind spot.

Also 3 goals from left side full/wing back. Anderson is completely lost getting back.

How long do we think AA will last? How long should we give him?

We're not getting destroyed in games.   We didn't even play our new CB signing nor Tete...whose arguably our best defending FB when healthy.

Gotta give the manager time to learn the squad.   I'm sure he came in thinking Palacios and Garcia would be enough up top.

But will the HC learn from this and adapt his tactics?
If not we will be done by December.

Which, arguably they have been. Scored 5 total in 3 premier league games and they acounted for 3 of them. If we weren't leaky at the back, we'd have at least 3 points.

Lots of mid level teams only got a point this weekend...and Palace didn't have any before today...

What an awful, awful loss. Need these late window signings to be great quickly if this season is to be salvaged. Probably going to have 0 points from our first 5 games with Liverpool and Man U up next

Lost due to poor defending and poor finishing not just one man at all.

AA needs to take the blame for sure but strikers can't miss chances like that and defenders cannot defend as they did today

There's just no benefit to these tactics at the moment.

We throw players forward, but we don't  look particularly dangerous going forward. All it seems to achieve is leaving us massively exposed defensively.

I was more than willing to be patient with Arbeloa, but these goals we're conceding aren't simply because the players are too slow. They look completely unsure of their roles and that's why we're so calamitous defensively.

If the players don't know where they're supposed to be or who they're supposed to pick up, that's a tactical issue.

For me that was calamitous defending and is the players, not AA. So many easy mistakes made, which can be expected from a young team, but not our side. Very disappointing because our offensive output today was fantastic.

Andersen got his pants pulled down by Isidor last week.  Why can't AA see it?

I give him until December.    I'm not sacking a manager before 10 games if we've been close in the games we lose.   Giving him and his staff 10 games to adjust to the pace and strength of the PL.   

He's gotta figure out who the hell his best 4 defenders are.    IMO I replace Castagne and Anderson next week for Tete and the new guy.

What are you talking about? Garcia looked good going forward.

Calm down mate, I never said he looked bad but he didn't have a shot on target and created very little for others. Leaving him on for 80+ minutes when we have someone like Muniz who can come on and challenge tired legs is poor game mgmt.
