Thankfully, you're not the manager.

Because it's worked so well so far.
Only an idiot would leave Bobb out of the lineup after his performance today.

Quote from: Fulham 1879 on September 05, 2026, 05:25:23 PMThe front 4 looked very good and mobile. I think people have exaggerated Charles' performances to date but he had a good game today. Bobb improved today and took a shot as well so hopefully he'll continue on an upwards trend. If the new centre back and Larssen turn out to be good buys then we have the makings of a good team once Andersen and Berge are pensioned off. We'll just have to live with Leno.
🤞🏼

Yeah I mean you can't leave OB out. That would be just plain silly. Castagne hasn't done anything wrong but I do love KT and would like to see him start next game. Affengruber must start next as JA just don't do it any more.
Old skool 90's cheesy quaver

Can somebody please give Andersen his gold watch and ask him to leave.

I'm not having a go at you but Castagne's inability to close his attacker down directly lead to the first goal.

He does not provide enough attacking output to justify carrying his defensive weaknesses in the current setup. Tete may not provide as much attack in some people's eyes, but he'd be the first change I'd be making if I were the manager.

Very unconvincing RS think it's time to say thanks JA.

I just watched their second goal. Why did Garcia do that? Leno had it covered.

Moussa Dembele the 3rd

Why was he even there in that position?

I think he's perhaps just enthusiastically trying to help out the defence but that clearance was shocking and very naive.

If we defend just 10 yards deeper we stop the long ball that has been catching us out. That or a quicker covering CB and possibly CDM

Yeah...he was trying to help our defense.  Naive on his part for our striker to be involved with that.    imo

In the 52nd minute, Andersen makes not one, not two, but three defensive challenges. It was brilliant defending. This whole pick on Andersen laziness needs to stop, because he was not the problem today at all. Even the commentators praised him for his reading of the game.

The biggest issue with this system is that it's hard for players that are used to playing in a controlled manner now having to ramp up everything. The kind of defending and transition that we're seeing is the kind I see every weekend at youth football matches where it is absolutely chaotic high pressing with a single ball splitting open and goal mouth scrambles result in conceded goals. Our left side is in complete chaos. Both Bassey and Robinson are overly aggressive and have to rely on their catch-up speed as their main strengths. Our right side is controlled and have to rely on their timing and positioning as their strengths. When we pair that up with brain fleeting moments - there's going to be errors - and in our case they are very comical errors.

The good news is AA kept a lot of our veteran players, premier league experienced players, who will right the ship because they have that very specific experience. Hopefully he will continue to trust in those players and find a way to blend the chaos to be a bit more controlled chaos.

Players will have off days and make mistakes, at this stage I don't blame any player for our zero points.

I do blame the ignorance of our new manager for his formations and tactics in a league he knows will punish you severally if you get things wrong.

He basically said (post game) we are conceding easy goals, they are easy situations to control and he's not worried.

Well I'm very worried if that's his real thoughts!
