I got stick for being negative when we lost to Chelsea, but all the signs were there. Somehow we've regressed from that game, so I'm not expecting any sort of upwards trajectory. I hated it when he was announced, and I hate it now that he's here. He's just not a good manager, at all.

I'm completely of the opinion that is on the players rather than the manager, in particular Anderson and Leno, and to a lesser extent Castagne and all the players missing amazing chances.

But at the same time if you don't have a RB to play your system and we need to do loads of extra stuff to protect our **** GK, then we might need to compromise the approach.

In Berge, Charles and Larsson we actually could conceivably put out a midfield that is both massive and technically very capable, but he'd need to think about alternative ways of creating threat.

It wasn't utter trash, we looked class for most of the game. King was brilliant, Gonzalo and Charles looked good for me too.

We were just utter trash when it came to defending their attacks.

Apart from the 1st goal Fulham had no luck. All deflections and touches went in their favour but you do make your own luck.

Leno beaten at the near post from acute angle, committed himself for the 3rd leaving Cresswell open goal. Robinson let player get behind him for same goal. Numerous Fulham attackers taking a 'poor' touch before missing great chances. Despite Livescore's stats Fulham actually had 26 shots with only 6 on target to Palace's 5.

Suggested improvements; drop Anthony Robinson he is one of the worst defenders in the EPL, drop Palacious and play Muniz. Sander Berge is better than Charles. Play Castagne on left and Tete on right as was done ONCE last season successfully (Castagne can even cross with his left). Leno's not started well but he is a decent keeper, just needs not to panic when under pressure.

Palacios has played far better than Kevin to date and was effective today. I hope Kevin becomes a star player, but like Bobb and ESR he's tended to make little impact. Bobb was at least better today, however.

Only one I agree with is Sess. AR hasn't really been terrible but Sess is a definite goal threat. Otherwise I think we need to replace one of Castange or Andersen. We can't have both on that right side.

Leno has been at fault in all three league games this season. His performances are a huge concern so much so that I believe we should have recruited a new keeper this summer. Obviously he's not the only reason we have been defensively frail this season but a major reason nonetheless.

How do you know? We have no idea how the new signings will perform. I like Larsson but he was pretty poor at Frankfurt last season. So much so he wasn't included in a very ordinary Sweden team. The Center back was playing for a bad team in La Liga. I wouldn't treat them as saviors.

Legitimate question, would it be that bad to start Lecomte for a game?

That might be the worst of all outcomes given we're likely to get hammered in the next two games. Lecomte gets a run and concedes half a dozen while Leno sits on the bench feeling like his days are numbered. You could end up with two goalies with no confidence.

Counter argument is that we're likely to get hammered in the next two games anyway, so it doesn't really matter who is between the posts, and it might be a good chance to see what Lecomte can do in a couple of games where he can expect to be kept quite busy.
