A Humble Man

Sounds like a Marmite film. I enjoyed the the stage version but it is an light opera not a musical so it needs real singers is my worry about the film.

I thought the film was excellent and takes nothing away from the stage show, really best to see both at a theatre if possible, only weak point was Crowe's performance but it needed a big name

I think France was a little bit more established than the North and South when they had their revolution. Yours was only 80 years in.

Hang on a sec, you're talking about Civil Wars, the film is about revolution. They're two different things entirely! Although the American and French revolutions did kind of happen at the same time.
