Always thought Mackie was Scottish - but played for them as his grandfather was from Kilmarnock! Born in Dorking - played for Leatherhead ... so a local lad for some. Not the best quality in Premiership terms, but a trier - could do with that now + a knockdown price as Harry must have to unload some. So fits our bill these days!

Don't get me wrong but if machine s all we can attract, having been in the Orem for 12 years then we are n a state.but the maybe I am thinking we are better than we are stature wise.

I am not a massive fan of his,  but bent being available for apparently just 4 million and butland being available for all edged.y 3 million plus then surely we can attract those at the prices being quoted.

He is the stand out player in a Heinz 57 team. I like his drive & passion. Sign him. Why they are letting him go I really don´t know.

Mackie has been the only decent player from a very poor QPR team, the only one with any commitment to the clubs problems and they want to offload him? The way we are playing i'd take 11 players with Mackies passion for our shower of crap.

Why would the odious Redknapp let another team in the relegation scrap have one of his lot? Either because he's stitched us on the price (px for Hangeland), because the player's pony or because it's rubbish is my guess.

Mackie isn't a huge name. TBH Redknapp doesn't seem to arsed about the fighters and wants class on paper.

agree would have been a good player to sign, Twente signed him with the nmoney we gave them for Ruiz, wasnt like for like replacement but they had requirements which he met. He is a good player they paid around 5 million euros for him i believe so it is a handsome profit
