How many attacking players do we need ffs!

If we buy anyone else surely it should be with defence in mind.
we have 2 players for every position not including youth, how many do you want?
??
I'm talking about all this madness with opinions on how much we should pay for 3 more attackers and what a crap window cigs Khan won't spend - what crap!
This is a good window and may get better!
who do you want replaced, kalas or Ream? Or both?
None!
I was talking about a backup rather than billions on a few extra attackers!
It seems from the last 500 pages that people are prepared to spend someone else's money, over the top amounts, for attacking players just because Aluko (who I really liked) decided he's worth more than anyone else, allegedly.
For me Ojo was the replacement and we now have a proper striker in Fonte and good backup in Kamara, who can also replace Aluko.
Can't we see what occurs and then discuss but not, for once, have a dig atKhan?
Anyway - whatever ....

Things will never change re negative responses to whatever the club do, imo

Well said. Also think Ojo was the Aluko replacement. The lad has an end product so has every chance of being as effective.

My guess is we're done. Mollo has come in as backup for both flanks.

I agree we could be in a much worse situation lets see what happens.
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town.

Mince n Tatties

How true...Ian Dennis the transfer guy on 5live has just said, its amazing that some clubs never learn from one transfer window to another and leave there business till last minute..

BestOfBrede

Ben, I think you forget that 'allegedly' Aluko wanted to leave.
Ojo is well respected and we had a fight to get him!
He looked pretty good from what I've seen so far.
Re Djalo - I have no problem with him whatsoever. Again looks ok to me

I was just trying to point out that we have a great club, best manager, very very good team and imo very good chance of promotion without this madness that we should spend silly money on stockpiling attackers as if we are Man City, Chelsea and spurs.

General

Presumably mollo'so signing without a quote from Khan or Tony or followed by a round up of the transfer business means there are still more players to come in. I'd expect at least one to cost a significant amount and challenge for first team football as would be a replacement for Aluko. . No reason to get rid of Aluko otherwise.

Why would we have signed Mollo if we were going to get another winger? We had pretty good depth there even before he joined.

Finally someone talking sense, my thoughts exactly, think we did our business early this year, think the Liverpool lad looks good and you never know he might be able to finish.
Shame losing Aluko but for 7.5 I think anyone of us would have said yes to that deal.
IMO the squad is stronger than last years now.

No doubt he's got a good pedigree.
He has but hasn't shown it for a while. Hopefully he does for us
He has only been at Zenith for half a season. Russia plays Spring-Winter.
St Etienne loaned him to a small club he looked good at them in the Russian league (rest of squad very average), then signed for them permanently and went to Zenit form there.

Played just 46 game since joining Krylia on loan in 2015
He, effectively, played a season and a half at Krylia. Joined August 2015 and left January 2017.

Given that the Russian season is 30 games long I don't see 46 in a season and a half as "just".
still doesn't take away the fact that it is an average league

Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

do we really think we ate stock Pilling though? Literally have 2 striker. 2 right wingers who no one knows how they will turn out and 2 and piazon down the left. Our right wingers cost us nothing. So there is room for a big upgrade should we go for it. As there would be for another striker too. We have multiple variations that we can do for defense should we need to. Plus we know Mcdonald and cisse can play at the back too. Yes you could say we have enough players for this season, good enough for top 6? Who knows. I'm not having slavisa would turn down another top attacker, and he is the man that counts. Also can't believe any Fulham fan would turn down a marquee signing either.
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

SuffolkWhite

I know my player knowledge is not great, and when we signed various players last summer I hadn't  heard of half of them. Most turned out ok last season I thought.

Yeah it would be good to sign another one or two but some of the these unknowns (to me anyway) may turn out to be alright like last season.

Sorry didn't mean we'd necessarily get a like for like replacement.. more about possible striker or other first team position

Fonte, Cisse, Kamara, Kebano, Odoi, Johansen joined us from average leagues.

Lighthouse

Yes Jordan Graham on loan as predicted. Any other news will now be extra.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

indeed they might. Wouldn't be the first time a cheap unheard of, has out performed a more known expensive player. But I'm more in the boat of let's have both. Don't think anyone can deny that we run out of steam last season. And if khan has made the money available, which he looks like he has, let's go for it. Coyws

I hope the gorundsman has enough seed for the flanks

Missing something with this Graham loan. If he isn't good enough for wolves why is he for us?

I know he doesn't suit their style but if he was good they'd surely keep him in the squad
