After another woeful performance today and the recent dross we've had to endure, where do we go from here?

The last game now is quintessential the deadest of dead rubbers and it's been a really disappointing end to the season.

It's time for Silva to go, and we thank him for stabilising us, but we need some extra vigour, guile, and fresh ideas to get us moving again. It's all very stagnant and stale!

That was one of the most pathetic performances I've witnessed, no urgency what so ever, the bad thing is I was half expecting it as it's what we have been producing recently.

Let's hope that the owners get our manager situation sorted by the end of the month... then they need to be swift, decisive, and bold in the transfer market.

Waiting until deadline day will simply not do, and it will mean a relegation scrap next season if there's the usual dilly dallying and dawdling.

A disgraceful end to the season and the football has been dire for many weeks now... I'd go as far as to say Parkerball has returned to end the season here.

Clearly there need to be big changes for next season. Our current form will see us in a relegation fight unless we are able to strengthen some key positions. The main problem for me has been the lack of a cutting edge in attack. The defence has been good for most of the season although there have been a few individual errors at times, but when the attack doesn't do its job it puts the defence under pressure. There have been some good performances by some individual forwards but rarely all at the same time and with no consistency. I've yet to decide if our problems are because of Silva's tactics or because of the failings of the players. Maybe a bit if both.

It's very frustrating because with the manager's belief, Fulham could have had a real go at the FA Cup this season and European competition the following campaign. Instead, it's all fizzing out like a cheap firework. Home fans spending good money with decent home attendances but all for what?? Look what Bournemouth have done under their manager. Iraola, who has recruited really good bright young imports on a relatively small budget, considering as well, the capacity of Dean Court is only 11,300 with the small south coast club looking good for Europe next season.

Silva and the Board have taken their eye off the ball. The manager has thrown away any ambition to better the club by concentrating on his own career, happily taking his salary at Fulham (with his usual post-match drivel of moaning and carping about the officials being against him and his team after another poor performance) whilst casting his net to see if he can get 'a bite' from a bigger club so he can leave the Cottage. Let's just remind ourselves that Marco Silva was a nobody when he came from Greece to the UK (aka Hull City) where he managed to get them relegated, then an underwhelming stint at Watford saw him leave followed by barely a year at Everton, where he struggled to get his team to find consistency and was duly sacked. Fulham took a chance and so, this is where we are at. Yes, we know Fulham is not PSG or Man City or Real Madrid. But fans love to dream, they love to see passion from the players, fast, attacking, exciting football from the same players actually playing for the badge, running through brick walls for their manager and in turn, a manager who can bring success to the club.

Not like some kick around at the local park, with. drab slow football and a manager who has other things on his mind.

It's still a sobering thought that the brilliant but short lived reign under Jean Tigana remains the only Fulham manager who has won a trophy for The Whites, despite Roy Hodgson's terrific reign at the club, and that wonderful journey to the Europa League final back in 2010., with that Intertoto Cup triumph over Bologna back in 2002.

Let's make our next manager someone with a bit of Mourinho inside him at least.

Silva did manage to win the Championship and raise us to the top league, he has also maintained a midtable placement since we have returned!

I agree that it could well be time to part ways with Silva, but this can be an amicable divorce where both parties are in agreement.

One could argue it's already too late to be working out who is in charge next season . We have to break this cycle every 18 months of will he won't he .

He has done a great job and made us competitive when we returned to the premier league . But I don't think it's been a coincidence that every team has put in a decent performance against us in the back end of the season , teams fancy playing us because we have become nice .

As always it's not about who leaves it's about who comes in , he has to leave one day and the club should be ahead of this and already made this decision and not be left hanging on while he waits for a better offer .
