Well now USA and Portugal are out maybe the delay is due to two other candidates being considered.

I would doubt Pepi, judging from the sums PSV would want and TK's comments about not revisiting in his interview with JK, I would imagine that's us out of that race.

If all the coaching staff are awaiting their work permits, strictly speaking they cannot be "getting on with stuff". It is called a work permit for a reason!

That is a fair comment but it would be naive to think that the club and Arbeola aren't discussing club business, recruitment etc whilst waiting for official clearance. That is assuming that Arbeola is our man and an agreement is in place.

Yeah agreed, just think that's what we might try and do.

We can't say if Pepi would be good for us . . . .because we don't know how we are going to play until we have a manager.  Agree 100% that Pepi isn't good enough to buy regardless of fit.

It's almost 3 weeks since the TK interview. They are testing even my patience with this saga. Given visas are handled by professionals this delay, if that's what it is, has the makings of a disaster. We are all assuming it's the RM man and the hold up is visas but none of us know for sure. I do think it's about time the fans were given an update and a timescale for an appointment

So we've appointed a new manager but we haven't signed 17 players already. What the hell is going on at Fulham. TK should be hung drawn and quartered for this. Anyway, apparently it's all a load of bollox and we are announcing Poch tomorrow or later today.
