Not many came out of last weeks game with flying colours so do you expect many changes or take into consideration the opposition we were playing and a virus around team?

Bournemouth on a great run currently and normally we struggle against teams who are intense. They have a bit of everything in their game so for me we are going to have to raise our game considerably and my gut feeling this is where we could struggle with the makeup of our squad.

I read the thread title as "What we drinking Bournemouth game"! My eyesight's obviously not what it was.

Hopefully we'll turn up to this one and play like we actually want to win, but with the players out with illness and our record against Bournemouth, I might need a large whisky or two!

I can live with Iwobi being out as long as the Berge Lukic partnership is available. However Sess out means Jedi plays so our left side is immediately weakened and we become vulnerable to attacks from their wide right (whoever they select).
If it's true that Raul is also suffering from the virus that's a disaster. Muniz is hopeless, I'd actually prefer Marco to give KSA a game!

With Kevin back, I hope we drop Wilson and start with Bobb & Chucky on the wings, or ESR left with Bobb central and Chucky on the right. We can bring Kevin on for 25-30 mins of chaos in the second half and Wilson can try to redeem the stinking performances he's given us for the last 6 weeks or so before he trots off to benchwarm for Villa. I know people will say "play your best team" but for me Wilson has flattered to deceive too much, and at this point we should look to give our attacking players opportunities to succeed in their best positions rather than being forced to accomodate a player who wants away. If Raul is unwell then Muniz will have to start but raise his game - I'm not against JKA getting some game time too because I would like us to keep him as one for the future

Agree about resting Wilson and I'd do that regardless of whether Kevin is back or not. Let's go with Check and Bobb out wide and if Wilson has to come on for 20 mins he can try to show us what he's really capable of.

Sickness running through the team and players either absent or returning from sickness. It is not waving the white flag as suggested to say that these are not ideal circumstances to be preparing for a match against one of the league's best unfashionable clubs. Kevin will not be able to contribute a great deal as probably will Raul so with other absentees someone is going to have to step up from the ranks to be the unlikely hero on the day.
I put my money on Bob or Josh.
