I know a lot of people hold a bit of a grudge towards Harvey Elliot because of how he left us, but this loan situation has been a complete fiasco and I do feel for the guy.

There really needs to be some form of arbitration in situations like this, as it's not fair to just let a player rot because the two clubs don't want to honour their sides of an agreement.

Hopefully he'll find a new club in the summer as Liverpool clearly want rid.

£35m? No way he's worth that.

How many times do young players leave for big clubs and better prospects only to see themselves sidelined? I didn't like the way HE left but I think he was heavily influenced by his parents. I do hope he gets his career back on track soon.

Cairney successor in midfield?

I think he probably could be, and he has an eye for goal which we miss. Unfortunate given the circumstances he left us in because it would be a controversial signing if we did bring him back

They should pay us to take him off their hands. Although the way he left with two fingers in the air not sure we are the Club for him.

sunburywhite

Regardless of the two fingers (and I dont like him,) is he that great a player to have a team built around him?
I dont think so

I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

The Old Count

He'll probably end up at Brentford.

St Eve

Let him rot at Liverpool for all I care. That's where he wanted to go

tonynorton

He is not good effort to help us move forward.

alfie

Seems people don't believe in second chances, he was very young and foolish that he apologised for. I for one would be happy to give him that chance.

Sadly she wasn't

RAY Rock

We have enough small weak physical players don't need another one also he is slower than Cairney

Know what you mean Ray.
For the reasons you say above it's hard to see him as a 90 minute player.
Really good as an impact sub, but you wouldn't pay a big fee for him on that basis.

Neutral Zone Ultra

Rat who disrespected our club and is now finding out the grass isn't greener. Not welcome back in my book.
