I've broadly been Silva in but he clearly wants a "better" job. If he's not appointed boss of Benfica then he'll jump ship in the off-season if a better post comes up and that would be enormously destabilising. Best part ways and get a new manager in asap. I assume we've done some planning on that front, although that may be naive.
