Of course he knows what offers are on the table but he doesn't have to speak to anyone personally at this stage.

There are many owners who would sack their manager when the team fails to take advantage and achieve something time and again when in good positions as this team has.

It wont happen at Fulham but I would say good bye to him whether he wants to stay or not,  the team needs a new leader.

He has given a very similar quote to what Parker did in his final game as manager.

After the game, Parker admitted: "It's a big summer for us. There are big decisions to be made and we need to make sure we make the right ones."

Silva: "In my opinion, it's probably one of the most important summers in this football club. The future is there, but we have to do it right, so that things that have happened this season don't happen again."

For me it just means they can't continue in this job the way the club is currently run, but I think he knows & Parker knew nothing is/was going to change. Just Indirectly blaming the ownership for the failures

At what point do we say to Marco a few things we don't like as a club in the way he has acted over the past few months and the way the team has trained.

Why Marco thinks he has all the cards pisses me off. The team has been awful for a few months, I think he'd be lucky to stay in the job for us

If we played all season the way we have these past few weeks, we would be in the same position as Wolves or West Ham... Marco has taken Fulham as far as he can... we need to move on...

"Please,please,please never ever allow a Manager or indeed a player go into the final year of their contract "
Marco Silva and Harry Wilson should both have been moved on last summer after turning down the contract offers.

In such circumstances I have lost all respect for him so as far as I'm concerned he can do one and I will not be cheering him on Sunday.

I'm not really sure you can force a player or manager to go if he's still in his contract (without paying compensation). He's within his rights to stay till it ends.

Exactly, it was clear he wanted to go so he should have said so 6 months ago and then we would have had closure and time to prepare, and the players may have had their minds more focused.

Definately lost all respect for MS given it looks like he has strung everyone along while impacting the club. I just hope the board appoint someone swiftly and given them the butget and freedom to improve the club. Lets not wait till the week the transfer window closes to appoint and then scramble for players!

If this story is true I actually feel relieved, I couldn't see anything but a struggle next season if he stayed. No guarantees but I think these players are better than what we have seen over the last few months.

I too am a little relieved. The football for most of this season and parts of last season was truly vomit inducing, which conincidentally was when Boa Morte left. I'm really hoping we get BM back in some form in either the coaching team or managerial team however he's more likely to rejoin Marco at Benfica.
