I got absoulute pelters on here a while ago for saying that "Pound for Pound" he is the worst signing that has ever been made by Fulham Football Club,
So today I want to repeat it, "Pound for Pound " the worst signing we have ever made !
A player so bad that we couldn't even sell this summer even if we took a 50% loss on what we paid.
To this day I still don't know what his role is in the team, is he supposed to be creating chances? Is he supposed to be scoring goals ? Honestly does anyone on here know?

I'm still on the side of him as I like good technical footballers and in his defence our set up does not tend to compliment his style at times. Raul for all his efforts is not going to get many through balls from outside the area and Muniz does not have capability to create room if ESR is looking to put through. Berge Lukic are never going to make a deep run. That leaves just the wide men at times who he can put through but apart from Wilson this season they chop & change like the weather.
That said though he is comfortable on the ball and thought process is good his lack of pace holds him back from ever being top grade.
Have to admit my patience is starting to evaporate slowly where he is concerned and next season might be make or break from a Fulham perspective.

He has the ability, but I just don't think for this level. I think the move has been a failure, and it is time to cut our losses and move on.

lol, you can't have watched many Fulham games for very long - having supported the club for coming up to three decades I can tell you catergorically that we have made loads of signings that have been far worse. Some, that if I went through them and asked you to name them you wouldn't have a clue.

The teams inability to score for me is tactical at this point.. these players know how to put the ball in the back of the net, it's upto management to allow for it.

Have you ever tried effectively passing the ball consistently in one or two touches? Have you ever tried it at any level beyond a kick about with mates and five aside?

This is absurd... for so long football and quality football has been synonmous with one and two touch football. If he's doing it in a PL game, whether you like it or not, it's a sign of quality.

Sorry I don't buy this, his one touch passes that consistently come off are all short sideways or backwards. Today was a good example, I lost count of the misplaced forward passes.

Don't buy this either. I'm pretty sure Marco doesn't send the team out with tactical instructions not to score. Marco didn't tell Berge to screw up his point blank header or Iwobi to smack it straight at the keeper. I'm not defending Marco because I don't enjoy the style we have adopted lately but there is a long list of poor finishing that is nothing to do with tactics.

It seems very likely that we could well have a new manager next season and this could make all the difference to ESR's performance in games.
Remember when Chris Baird first came and many slaughtered his performances under Laurie Sanchez.
Following on when Roy came in Chris was a different player with people singing 'we've got Bairdiniho' because he was so good.
So maybe new manager and we will see a far better ESR as the talent is there but not used to his full potential currently

Don't buy this either. I'm pretty sure Marco doesn't send the team out with tactical instructions not to score. Tactics include training - I have no idea what they're practicing in training, but Berge and Lukic don't seem to be practicing goalscoring/headers.

Pound for pound Mitroglou is our worst signing. Rui Fonte was also an expensive disaster. We unfortunately don't have many expensive signings that have worked.

I've watched Fulham play well over a 1,000 times since 1970 !
Maybe somebody on here can kindly explain to you what "Pound for Pound" means because you clearly haven't got a clue.
I'll give you just one example though I could give many , we once signed a player from West Ham reserves on a free transfer, his name was Ray Houghton, Smith-Rowe isn't fit to lace his boots and yet Ray cost £35 million pounds less.

Supports my claim that AP was one of the most underrated players in recent memory and slagged off by many improperly.

We are in desperate need of someone who takes the chance to go forward instead of kicking is sideways or backwards. AP could almost always be counted on doing that, it's why his pass comp % was always in the bottom half for his position, but lord knows we need more attack minded players in the midfield. If it not for Lukic who has shown some decent drives forward in recent games it's like we are playing without any attacking midfield at all.

We are 15th in goals per match and 17th in shots per match, but 5th in total passes completed. That doesn't pass the smell test.

But he's not doing what you suggest he is doing!
He constantly plays an easy non threatening pass or loses possession.
A rubbish player? No but certainly not contributing to any kind of success.

Please remember that opinions are just that.  No need to knock an opinion just because you have a different view. 

Personally, I don't think ESR is consistent in his one-touch or two-touch passing.  And that is his downfall if he is going to play that central creative midfielder.  Again, I can't help but think it would be better for both club and player to move on.  A different level or even a different league.
