Unless typo on BBC website not in Portugal World Cup Squad?

bill taylors apprentice

He has never been a regular starter.

St Eve

Good time to buy him

Fulham 442

He was great for us but we can't keep looking back at former players. We need to get more young and upcoming players in..

St Eve

Depends who it is. Palhinha has 5 more years in him and is exactly what we need right now

How is he exactly what we need right now? He'd only make sense if we sell Berge, as otherwise, why would we have 2 players who can both only play as a DM, while we have almost no depth in some other positions?

I have no problem selling Berge if we could get Palhinha. He is far better at breaking down the attack and actually shoots, even scoring the odd goal

I don't necessarily disagree, but you'd need someone to make an offer for Berge. I'm not aware that we'we got any offers for him since he arrived. Also, perhaps worth noting, Berge is 3 years younger.

ron

As I always think of him - a midfield Rottweiler who refuses to allow opposition attacks to develop.

Why wouldn't we want him at the moment?

Too old and past his best? Nah !!
