Did I miss something in Bassey's performances last season? Don't get me wrong I thought he was solid and dependable allowing for the month or so at Afcon he never got straight back in for Cuenca when returning.
Quite surprised he came second and Jiminez only mustered 13% of the vote to be in third place?
Was he overhaul better than Raul last season? Found that quite surprising looking at the voting percentage.

Doesnt anyone remeber how many goals Cuceuna gave away by dragging the layer back because he got beat by bad positioning

I wondered who you were calling names when I saw the thread title.

Completely agree. Nonsense that Raul didn't get second over Bassey

I'm quite surprised Wilson came first considering his last third of the season performances. There was no standout performer this year which is probably why Wilson only pulled in 35% of the vote.

I Personally voted for Raul. Pretty consistent, always gives 100%, and got us out of some holes during the season.
Loved Wilson, but he dropped off massively.

H inspired spell of form secured Safety this season.

Despite tailing off, Wilson was the only real contender. I think that whoever ends up with him, they might be surprised to find out that he is not quite as good as the media hype around him. I think that Wales failing to qualify led to his drop off in form.

Yes, agree with all that apart from the fact I went for 'H' but it was really close with Raul who was immense during that spell we were down to the bare bones. H should sign a new contract, he probably won't, and get back on it because he will never have it so good elsewhere. As Sess says, the grass isn't always greener and that applies to Fulham players as much as any.
