It's way too early to call this a pants-pulling IMO. I think he'll come good, but he needs to hit the gym with King. Maybe they can spot for each other.

He must learn to use his right foot. He was one v one and just needed to go on the outside where the space was and get a shot off with his right. It's criminal that someone could play on that side and have no ability/confidence to do that.

Thought he was pretty good vs Chelsea and had a good World Cup. He needs to shoot more.

In general the Sunderland performance was very similar to how we played last season, painfully slow build up and too many safe passes. The only players trying to make something happen were King and Garcia. There's a lot of work for Arbeloa to do still.

ESR has definitely improved this season. I've no doubt Kevin and Bobb will improve. Charles and Garcia already look decent value.

It's just Andersen that has limited room for improvement given his age and physical limitations. I've said before that he isn't suited to a back four.

Palacios was pretty cheap and has plenty of natural talent. He's still adjusting to the physicality of the league, so we'll need to give him time. Should be taken out the firing line and dropped to the bench,  with one of Kevin, ESR or Iwobi replacing him.

Too many people keep saying Bobb, Kevin, ESR etc will "Come Good" These are £30m player signings, they should be arriving good! and certainly shouldnt be underperforming months later. The idea of players who will "Come Good" is something more reserved for younger acadamy players stepping into pro football, or coming up the leagues. These guys are paid professionals. Either Step up or step out

To his defense and I've criticised Bobb before, he looks better than Zepa and Sess on that wing. Fulham were weaker subbing Bobb IMO. He had a good world cup!

Agreed Bobb is very reluctant to go outside his marker, but his best asset is his ability to make an incisive pass. That requires others to be running into space ahead of him. He seems more like an inside forward than a winger to me, but unfortunately he doesn't have the physical presence to play that role.

Bobb has done very little for us in the minutes played. He is just a tidy player who plays the short easy pass most of the time or just loses the ball.
