Some early views, please feel free to add as the week goes on.

"whatever team get's put out I think MJ may have lost the dressing room.

Nailed on home win this."

----------

"Fulham started badly, but it's become quite clear they're developing a style of play, and they've been picking up results recently. Newcastle as far back as I can remember rarely do well in this fixture.

Jaissle is going to do exactly the same thing, while he may swap a couple of players out, his system will remain. In his mind it's individuals making errors, or the players not following his plan that's the issue.

I don't think we'll get anything in this game.. We're there for the taking and it's going to be particularly bad.

If we lose we should get rid of this guy!"

-----------

"I can see the players downing tools and us getting a proper hiding here."

-----------

"Jaissler has consistently now blamed the players and they won't like that. Howe to his credit avoided doing that even if he felt it was the case.

I criticised Howe, but he's was a capable PL manage at least. This new guy isn't fit to manage a Premier League club.

He's absolutely useless."

-----------

"I agree with the above; his naivety in the entitled PL has basically divided the players. He - stupidly, IMO - immediately put faith in the worst players we have. How does he win it back? He can't. If he drops the useless crap, they'll have a hissy fit about how they've earned their right, blah blah, so they'll make it more difficult for the youngsters to succeed. If he plays them, they won't run through walls (Barnes was actually scared of O'Brien, didn't fancy even getting tackled, it's like watching U-14s) and will continue to let him down. It's lose lose and, sadly, Jaissle will go get a job somewhere else, Barnes will keep getting £100k a week and we'll be watching neither back in the Championship.

I think he only has one chance - to bin off the ****, demand the board secure moves and get them away from the 1st team as soon as possible. I'd completely change the whole thing.

Hornicek; Dedic, Thiaw, Botman, Hall; Bamba, Nico; MFP, Steur, Toure; Joelinton.

It's not going to happen and lord knows there's a tonne of issues with it, but I'd just stick with a new team and let them gel. I think the clique players - if Osula's spliff celebration is an indication - are unprofessional and poor and need gone."

----------

"If they can get rid off the smoking ban in the dugout I'd be all for getting Joe Harvey exhumed."

-----------

"This **** been sacked yet?"

------------

"We'll lose.
It'll be rinse and repeat until Ross Wilson is sacked."

------------

"Wilson isn't going to be sacked mate. Would need Hopkinson to go and decisions at that level are almost never seen the same way as the fans do.

U21s are crap an all. There's a light at the end with the u18s, but for the most part we're just bang average at best from top to bottom.

There is a pervasive mediocrity that has been stagnating the club since the day the league cup was lifted. Players publicly declared we were small time, a platform for bigger and better clubs. The transfer policy following that was so poor its crippled us for years, not just because of the dreadful scouting but the absolute embarrassment of getting rejected so often."

-----------

"I think we all need to go to mass and light some candles. This squad is worse than ones we've gone down with in the past."

------------

Well that's positive!

Not seen them this season, anyone know what their defensive structure is? We tend to do better against a high line, high press, so hopefully they don't use Palace-style low block.

Yeah they play a fairly high line and don't really have anyone quick in their back line to make up for it.
They've lost a few of their best players and they look like it. Guimares and Gordon especially.
Joelinton went off the other night holding his hamstring too.
WHenever all the stars align, Fulham somehow manage to knock them all back out of shape again...

True true. Already happened twice with Palace and once with Sunderland

watched three of their home games, against liverpool they deserved to win and I thought hard done by the injury time penalty. Against Bournemouth Bournemouth looked like World beaters winning every ball and lead 2-0 and somehow Newcastle scored out of nothing and then got an 88th minute equaliser. Against Hull they scored two very early goals but after Hull pulled one back it was back to the wall and were fortunate to hold on.

Let's hope their doom & gloom merchants prove correct.

I always thought their fans were a decent bunch but the behaviour of their fans sat in the Lower Riverside last season was well off the scale. Printing here what they were calling Eddie Howe would see me banned from FoF.

Sgt Fulham

Nailed on away win then isnt it?

HobGoblin

Dr Fulham I hope not to their rescue

Quality, one of the best comments I have seen
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Andrew

If we can manage to put the ball in the net, we might actually win but so far we don't take our chances and therefore it is never straightforward. And we have only won against lower league and promoted teams this season.... Will we manage to beat an established team that are in apparent disarray?

An early goal might help us.... Providing we score it.

I Ronic

This has Fulhamish written all over it. However if we buck that habit and see them off with more than a goal, it will be another step in the rebuild and cementing good form and direction.

Joelinton now confirmed as missing. Him and Guimares used to prove a tough centre mid pairing and with Ramsey out too, I'm not sure who'll be lining up for them.
