if I was playing in that match, id see that we we're losing by 4, (i think, it looks like it was filmed with a calculator) i would see that we had 10 minutes left, and i would be on a mission for a yellow and a bruisin' for said penalty taker.

What an idiot. It's nearly the worst penalty you could ever take (on target is only saving grace)- slow, along ground and near centre. Keeper was clearly not the best!

One interesting and one sad fact about this penalty.

1. The goal was allowed but the penalty take got a yellow card for provocation.

2.  He died last Sunday (aged 21) in a road traffic accident when his car hit a truck in Abu Dhabi.

3. He was currently suspended from the UAE for "unsportmanslike" behaviour (namely that goal).
